Very happy with this shower bench.
The seat is very comfortable. The nonslip surface is great unless it gets soapy. Very simple to assemble. Everything lined up nicely. The chair is very sturdy. It makes getting clean a lot easier, without having to stand up. I am an amputee and have limited mobility. This makes my shower much easier.

good quailty
Great shower chair for elderly. The blue padding on seat makes it more comfortable & the large indentations along center of seat allows easy access to wash & rinse bottom, front & back, without standing up. This is very sturdy even on slightly uneven small tile flooring. The hand grip opening on back is a great plus. I'm a nurse that has used several different types of shower chairs & this one exceeds them all by a long shot. Only thing I would change is to make the back support adjustable because my mom is normal size & back is fine as it is but would also be fine if I could push it in / towards seat more so it doesn't take up as much room in the shower. Obviously large people would need the back rest to be out more, like it is.

Overall a great chair
This chair does not fit in a standard tub, but I did buy it for a shower at my mom’s ALS. The shower there has more room. I just wanted to see if it would fit in a tub...no it does not. It is very sturdy, and easy to put together. My husband assemble it, and said there were no issues with the hole alignment. Overall the quality is good. The mat on top of the seat is more for no slip than for comfort.

Very sturdy
Definitely better than Walmart's equivalent, cost more but worth it. The cut out is a great feature for persons with very limited mobility. Only draw back, the blue seat cushion is already peeling and we've been using it a little over a month now.

Back or knee issues? This is the only one you will ever need!
If your shower is big enough, this is so much better than a regular seat. It can be moved around with one hand. It's sturdy, even at the highest adjustment. Soft seat, cleans easily, and goes together in 15 minutes. I could have assembled it, but my husband had it out of the box and in the shower in about 20 minutes. I have bad knees, bad discs, long hair, and soft water. Sometimes, after a long day, I just can't stand in the shower long enough to rinse it. I love the seat because I look awful in short hair!

Great product
I love this product. Haven't seen anything like it on the market. I use it in the shower for my elderly dad. The Cutout for Easy Cleaning is the best feature of it and the reason I purchased the product.I would enhance the following:1- Make the front cut out a bit smaller so a thin person has more space to sit on and their leg doesn't go through the opening.2- Add hand rests to make the seat more safe for a wobbly elderly person.Otherwise love the product.

Great investment
This lightweight chair has made showering much more accessible and easy as I age. I am 5'10, 170 pounds -- the chair is easily adjustable for height, and is entirely stable. The seating pads are not removable, but are easy to clean. I have every expectation that this chair will last me for many years.

Seems Practical ...But It Is NOT
I'm returning this after one use, so I can't comment on the many complaints about it breaking after several months. That is reason enough to be concerned. However, if you have any mobility issues, do NOT buy this chair. It is narrower and the back support is much further away than other shower chairs and, most importantly, the blue padding you see in the picture is like an adhesive when you sit on it. You cannot move once you are seated (seller, very wisely, avoids any mention of this flaw). You will have to stand, or lift yourself up somehow (remember: I mentioned that it is too narrow to easily use your hands for this). This makes it extremely difficult - and dangerous - if you have any weakness in your legs.If you are still inclined to want to risk buying this, be VERY careful with the seller you choose. The seller I used demanded that I pay to return it and accept a re-stocking charge. Fortunately, Amazon obliterated these unusually restrictive requirements, but it is quite a process to get whole again (I have to submit receipts to Amazon).
