Terrific product
First, I love this thing. But second, it only delivers half the advertised production rate. Warmer water and higher pressure give higher production, so at my 78 psi pressure and 78 degree water I should expect 130 gallons per day according to the manual's correction factors. The best it could do was 68 gpd, which is about half. From my experience they should rate it at 50 gpd, not 100. Their support was excellent - they sent three different RO membranes, thinking I was just getting defective ones. If production rate is important to you, maybe consider another product, although I wonder if any of them can actually meet their claims. I use it for home brewing. I need to be able to store it inside, but take it outside to connect to a spigot to make RO-DI water, so I need portability, light weight and compactness; this thing is all of those. Plus, since it only gets used intermittently, it's really nice that the cartridges can be popped out and stored in the fridge. A lot of systems have hoses that run willy nilly, they're cumbersome and they're heavy. This thing has the shortest hose runs possible and it's really compact and lightweight. Easy to set up, easy to use, makes water with zero total dissolved solids at what I think is a reasonable rate. The cartridges aren't really that hard to insert as long as you have the unit mounted; the storage caps can be difficult because they're so short, but they're manageable. I had a unit for years that used the canisters, and it was a pain to maintain, not to mention heavy and cumbersome. The twist-in cartridges are a great improvement. It will be more expensive to maintain, but I think the convenience is well worth it. Plus, since the critical cartridges can be fridge-stored, they probably will stay usable for a lot longer. As I said, I love this thing and highly recommend it if you can live with about half the claimed production rate.

Compact. Convenient. Does the job very well. Value for money!
The most convenient / compact RO/DI filter out there! I got this as I wanted to make saltwater at home and avoid going to the LFS to bring it every time. The package came in on-time, and it was well packed. When I was going through the items, I didn't find the Kitchen/Sink faucet adapter (you can see that in the online manual which is available on their website). The faucet was a critical component for me as I was planning to hook it to my kitchen faucet and get the RODI water. I reached out to the customer service, and they mentioned that it is a new addition and wasn't available with this version I got. They suggested that I go to Home Depot and get the adapter but to my luck, none of the adapter I got worked well. I experienced leaks in the one I purchased from Home Depot. I revisited the customer support and they sent me the faucet adapter and it works just golden now!A few learning points from my setup -* Please be careful with the tubing.* Ensure that you flush the RO and DI cartridges as mentioned in the manually.* After the whole setup, do investigate for any potential leaks anywhere.Definitely 5 stars. It just fits in a small bag :-) Kudos Aquatic Life.

Wonderful product, best customer service ever!
This is an excellent product, well-made and thoughtfully designed. The installation instructions were very clear, and it was enjoyable to install. I added their Drinking Water Add-On Kit a month later. The unit has been running for almost 6 months now, and the water I get from it is the best filtered water I've ever tasted! There was a small leak right at first, but a quick conversation with Aquatic Life customer support put everything right. They shipped a replacement segment immediately at no extra cost, and were extremely pleasant and helpful to deal with. I recommend this product, AND this company and its superb customer support, to anyone! A wonderful experience all around. If you're considering this system, go for it! (BTW, I'm a paying customer, not affiliated with Aquatic Life in any way)

No where near 100GPD
I bought this to upgrade from another Aquaticlife RODI system I had. That was rated at 50GPD and I wanted something faster. Considering this is rated at 100GPD I thought it was a no brainer. Right now I am getting about 2 gallons an hour, or basically the same as my old system.

Aquatic Life Twist-in a Great System
I finally hooked up my Aquatic Life Twist-in 100 GPD 4-Stage RO/DI filter. It works very well as expected and I am very happy with the zero TDS water it produces. I have 60 psi at my unit, which is plenty to create all the water I need to keep my 120 gallon reef tank topped off and then it fills my 30-gallon holding tank weekly as needed. I also added an electronic valve on a timer, so it only opens up for 30 minutes each night. I also added a pressure gauge to verify my home pressure at the unit. I also added a 2-position TDS Meter to verify the filter is fully operational. One complaint is that if the float valve is at the upper limit because the holding tank is nearly full, then the unit shakes the plastic tubing connected to the shutoff valve quite severely. So for my top-off, the shaking may carry on for 5-10 minutes any given night as the amount of water needed to fill my tank can vary. But since there is no pump involved, I am not too worried about high pressure or about something breaking or coming apart. My other complaint is that the filters themselves are hard to twist in. I had to really push and turn and it felt like I could break the top part of the holder with the amount of pressure and force required to lock them into place. I hope when I replace them, it will be easier next time.
