Martin's Sandwich Potato Bread- 16 slice 18 oz (4 Bags)

The box arrived a few days earlier than estimated and the loaves were in good condition.I haven't had potato bread since I was a kid at Grandma's and forgot how good it is; a tad of sweetness, a bit darker than Wonder (not too much) and to me, tasty. The bread has some "body" to it, not flimsy, with a consistent texture. Bottom line, it holds together but isn't "heavy." Toasts nicely.Excellent for BLTs, etc. where plain white breads can disintegrate.Edit after second purchase: arrived quicker than estimated, and allow else still holds. This bread makes a great grilled cheese sandwich with extra sharp cheese & brushed with olive oil instead of butter/margerine.

What I dislike is how they were shipped. By the time I received them, many loaves were smashed and squished. In the picture you can see that the bread is squished.

A taste of home I was very much missing. Got here faster than expected. The ONLY issue is that the loafs were squished. All 4 loafs were forced into a box that was just a bit too small. Other than that, quite happy with the purchase. Really wish they sold this brand in the Southwest.

I've ordered Martin's Potato Sandwich Bread several times and my partner's become addicted to it.She tells me local brands don't even come close to Martin's taste and quality. The quality justifies the price because it's as good as artisan breads and delivered fresh.

And the rare times it shows up in less-than-ideal condition, customer service takes care of it fast. 10/10 would recommend

This review is as much about the seller (M&M Trading) as it is about the bread. My bread arrived in great shape. Very fresh and well packaged. The bread...simply awesome.

The bread is fantastic HOWEVER - The packaging is PROBLEMATIC! Every single time, at least one whole loaf becomes comical. they never regain their shape. this last time, the entire box spilled open and was repacked by the POST OFFICE! honestly it's rediculous!

This is the best bread you can get but it's not available where I live. They should go nationwide with this stuff. Great flavor and texture. Get some! Get some more!
