Make sure you get the correct size
This was a very good product. It was just as described and worked fantastic on my AI prime 13HD it works for the 16HD as well. Thank you for the quick and easy shipment. Defiantly would recommend this product to any hobbyist.

Great for rimmed 40 gal breeder
Or a rimless tank. These are an updated design, it fits perfectly under the rim. It attaches to the glass and you don't have to put something there to fill the gap under the rim. Great job on the new design I'm glad I waited a little longer to purchase my prime HDs and I'm glad I selected these mounting arms. I couldn't be happier with them.

Not very sturdy
Seems like you pay for the brand. They are completely useless if u want any other arrangement than straight forward they just fall over.

Honestly, after reading the reviews, I was very skeptical about these light mount and went into the purchase with the notion I could always return them if they were junk.I have the old versions with the two solid bars and did not find mounting this flex mount any more difficult than those.Needless to say I, I am happy and they did exactly what I needed it to do alleviating shadows in my 8' frag tank.I first tried one on my rimless cube as a test and it worked fine. They are now on a rimmed tank. Again, no issue.They included a flared nylon nut to attached on the end of the nylon screw for more biting surface area as well as a cut to fit rubber pad for the other (dry) side.I tapped the lights to see if they would bow, slip, slouch or give. Nothing.If they do decide to go for a swim for some reason later on down the road, Ill be sure to update this review.

Good price!
Perfect for my nano tank, it’s a 6 gal cube and this put my ai prime right over the center. Sturdy and didn’t weigh too much on my little tank.

Unstable Mount
This mount held my brand new $200 AI 16HD for one week until it loosened and fell into the tank. Now out a $200 light and I own a worthless mounting bracket. Thank you AI. After this happened, I found lots of similar reports from others. Don't use this bracket!! On the good side, it did not kill any of the fish.AI replaced the light and the bracket. I now own 5 of their lights and they are excellent lights. The bracket still sucks and is unreliable.
