I have been using whisky stones in all my cold drinks for at least 7 years. I have 30 of the ice cube size. They are wonderful at keeping your beverage colder than the frig does while not diluting it like water ice cubes.I accidentally disposed of 6 stones in a gas station trash bin, so ferreting them out was not an option. Ewwww! I came to Amazon to get another 10 pack, but I saw the 8 pack of the large spheres, so I decided to give them a try.And then the sky opened up and a miracle happened 😂!… No joke that these are on a whole “nother” level when compared to the much smaller ice cube sized stones!These easily last all night and well into the next day. I have shaken one in the morning, and the majority of the liquid inside was still solid! Whatever liquid is used inside is also colder than water ice, so your drink will be colder than the frig keeps it. When I start pouring my already cold drink into my glass, the whiskey ball immediately forms ice all around itself.If you love cold drinks, the meaning of ice cubes in beer changed from eewwww to ahhhh! 🍺🧊

I'm not a drinker of alcohol but use them in sodas to keep them cold and not watered down. I had bought some other smaller ones last year and wound up giving to my son for his drinks.THE ONLY COMPLIANT I have is it takes so long for them to freeze, I have a set of four and use two at a time. Yet my drink cups are 20+ ounces so they do not keep it cold for more than a couple of hours.Oh yeah they are pricey. Not sure I would do it again for the price they charge.

I bought these for my boyfriend to use inside his water jug. The balls stay pretty cold though they are not solid stainless steel. I believe there is a gel in the middle that freezes. He works at a base and is outside mostly without ac. We live in Florida and most days when he comes home, the balls are still slightly cool. They freeze well and cleaning them is.easy.

They stay cold for a really long time. Not sure what the gel is inside, but if they surface metal heats up, just give them a shake or a vigorous stir and they're cold again. I've used this for soft drinks, hot coffee, and of course whiskey. once they're frozen they'll stay cold for a long time. I forgot my soda, and the drink was still fridge cold even when the soda itself went flat. stainless is easy to clean, was worried there might be a break in period getting rid of any chemical funk from the machineing process. Nope. just a quick rinse and right to the fridge.

Works great. Does not dilute my drink. I have bought this for myself and gifted them as well because I like them so much.

My husband loves drinking his bourbon every now and then but he doesn’t like it watered down. These are the perfect thing to keeping the bourbon cold for longer without the water. Great deal!

I bought this as an anniversary gift for my whiskey loving husband. I was so excited for these. They are a perfect large size where you need only one in a scotch glass, they come with a nice case to hold them in the freezer, only wish they got a little bit cooler. They don’t seem to cool down a drink as much as I would like. My husband is still happy with them and uses them every week.

Takes to long to cook off liquor, I'll go back to using ice.
