Great introductory/recreational bow!
Hard not to like this bow based on its price, look, and durability! Guaranteed fun & relaxing shooting experience for anyone.I'm still a beginner but have had friends/family want to tag along & try archery for fun. But even 25lbs is still a bit too much for them so I wanted something lighter and durable enough for everyone to learn with (without worrying about accidents or breaking my equipment lol). Even better this is ambidextrious so I don't have to worry about switching/getting another bow. Wanted something they can safely learn proper form with, without struggling too much & tiring themselves out quickly(especially for the kids) so the 18lb bow was just right. While I don't expect perfect accuracy with this, it gets the job done at the 10-15yd targets. (I still got good groupings when I gave it a go!) And most importantly, they've all enjoyed hours of shooting with this. Glad it made their first archery experiences very fun and memorable. It's also a great warm up & form training bow for me when I'm too lazy to set up my heavier bow.The bow itself is super lightweight, sleek & simple design, very easy to string up, and shoots surprisingly quietly. The string & arrow rests works well enough for starters but can definitely upgrade it after, but not something that's bugging me too much as this is my "to share bow" haha. As long as the arrow rests, string & nocking points are set up properly, you'll have a good shooting experience. I personally don't like the straight grip, but wrapping it in some batting grip makes it a bit more comfortable. Also like everyone else has mentioned, they seem to ship out bw Arc Rolan, PSE, & SAS. I was sent the Rolan, which was a pleasant surprise, but again all seem to be of similar qualities anyway. Would definitely recommend this bow if you're looking for a cheap & good quality recreational bow!

Absolutely wonderful light poundage bow.
This bow is made by a company in France. It is actually the same manufacturer used by a large well known archery company in the US and was marketed under their name for a while. I will add that it can be found at a lower price at the few big box sporting goods stores that still have them. The bow is made in three draw weights, though the 22# is the most common. Even though the description here listsThe bow at 22 pounds the one that arrived for me was labeled 26. Even though the description was off, I am actually pleased with this mistake as I like the heavier weight. There is a video available on YouTube by a gentleman at Malta Archery who uses this bow exclusively for rentals and beginner lessons. Being an ambidextrous bow it's great for left or right handed shooting straight off the shelf but there are also four lightweight plastic rests included along with stickers if you wish to put them on your bow. Overall this is a great bow for beginners, my little ones can use it as well as my wife. It is extremely light for me but fun for backyard target practice. The bow can have some rough areas where casting seams are present and can feel sharp to the fingers, but these are easily sanded away and after doing so does not detract from the stability or function of the bow at all. If I could I would have one of these for every member of the family and a few extra to loan out. It really is that good of a little bow.

Excellent bow, holds up well
Excellent bow, holds up well. Only downside is that it didn't include any instructions and it shipped in a flimsy box. However the bow itself is fantastic!

Great First bow or bow for unindoctrinated guests
I bought this bow for my kids (16 yo +) , and I also shot it myself. It's very comfortable for such an entry level ambidextrous bow. Unless you have particularly weak arms/shoulder/back, I recommend getting the 22lbs. The 18 is almost toyish, but the 22lbs shoots and feels more like an adults bow.You do need 700 spine arrows with 100 grain tips for this bow, so make sure you get those or you will not be happy with the archers paradox.

Excellent for the intended purpose.
I wanted a lightweight bow that I could use to work on my form and shoot lots of arrows without getting fatigued. I was a little ticked when it arrived, I had ordered the 24# version and received the 18# bow. Was going to return for replacement, but decided that the lower weight would be ideal for training a kid or just someone who has never used a bow. So I'm keeping it. No need for finger tabs or thumb rings..There are arrow shelves on both sides and the narrowest arrow pass I've seen. Been shooting exactly the wrong arrows on it -- 32" with 400 spine -- and they shoot just fine. Bow doesn't care. It's a little heavy, made of plastic and it's cheap. I believe I'll keep it.

Beginner bow
I have done traditional archery for 40+ years but wanted too try thumb draw/release for something new. Purchased this bow for learning that since it has a low poundage. It pulls about 28 # at my draw length. A new string, string silencers and shelf rugs are a must. Out of box it had horrible hand shock and vibration. With my alterations its an ok bow. Accuracy is ok if you practice. This is a great bow for people who want to dabble in archery to see if they like it or not without a huge investment, or a good kids bow. It is well made and an excellent value for the price point.
