Unsure how this can be delivered obviously seeing the damaged box and seem to have burned through the box on the battery

Not having much luck with this battery with my m15 r3. It will work flawlessly a few times and then the non-dell battery error message comes back. I can't keep reflashing the BIOS every week.UPDATE: Contacted the seller and received a quick response. They sent a replacement battery and it works as should. Excellent support!

This was an OE Dell battery, just rebranded with the name DELL, blacked out.This is a drop in replacement for a 42w small battery or a larger 65w. Instructions aren't included but if you're looking to replace the battery on your laptop, odds are, you don't need them. Worked well for 2 weeks and then it just died. No warning or low battery warning, nothing. Laptop would then no longer power on with it installed. Luckily, swapping the old on back in, powered on my laptop.RETURNED and REQUESTED REFUND.

The battery came in the same standard packaging as other laptop batteries I have bought, which just means it was just fine when it arrived. Anywhere the word Dell was printed on the battery has been marked and covered up. So it's not an "official" Dell battery. The battery casing doesn't appear to be obviously altered in anyway so take this information however you would like. After plugging the battery in and running a battery report in Windows right away, it is showing about 95.5 Wh which is perfectly reasonable. If this battery is used, it would only be slightly used.

It took a while to install the battery as I had it for 6 months in storage after receiving it - battery at different location from the laptop, so maybe this contributes to the issue. Purchased last June, just installed a day ago (Jan 23). The good news is that the battery works with my Dell XPS9500. The bad news is that HW test shows the max capacity at 548891 mWh and max charge to 45440 - just over half of what it should be, and this is with installation one day ago! Actual performance is less than the battery it replaced!!
