TrekPak Divider System to fit the Pelican 1510 case & Pelican 1519 Lid organizer

The TrekPak was a must for the amount of equipment that I packed into the 1510. I could not have done it without the 1519 lid organizer as well. Just a great combination for the 1510. I packed a 5DmkIII, 5DSR, 600EXRT flash, the addon battery pack, Sigma 50-500 zoom, 85mm1.2, 50mm, 1.4, 28mm 1.8, a dual camera battery charger, a AA 12 cell charger, multiple Pelican card holders, shutter releases, 24 AA bats, 12 AAA bats, and a few other things. The TrekPak itself takes up very little room in the case. I have a larger case with the padded and they move. The trek does not. I am very happy to say the least. Now if the airlines do not change the carry on weight policy A great price on this combo.

Pelican cases are pricey, but are the industry standard for quality, durability, and reliability. They are used by professionals in a variety of industries to protect vital, sensitive equipment. They are used in combat zones, filmmaking, event production, etc. The brand is the gold standard for transport cases. This is a product that falls woefully below the standards expected from Pelican products.I used this product for one single 10 hour shift, and it felt like it would have fallen apart within a week. This is probably useful if you have dozens of extremely delicate items (like camera lenses or microphones) and money is no object. For the rest of the world, this is an insanely overpriced and unnecessary waste of money. The lid organizer piece is actually worth the money, but the divider system itself is nothing more than five dollars of corrugated plastic glued between some foam. The dividers are flimsy also (a roll of gaff tape was heavy enough to bend and deform them).I would have paid $30-40 for the foam and divider system, and I kept the lid organizer because it was useful (even then, there are better lid organizer options, such as a MOLLE system)A YouTube search will yield over a dozen videos on how to make a functionally identical divider system for $20-$50. Save your money and make your own.Side note, Amazon does not give full refunds for items like this if it is used. The company I purchased it from gave me a partial refund as a courtesy, but don’t expect a refund if you realize how trash it is after you actually try and install it in your case.

Fantastic quality product!

This system is like magic. Just when I thought I had maxed out every inch of my travel case, this combo instantly added what feels like a whole other level of tools. Must have for any roadie or traveler with a serious set of tools.Very easy to install / customize. Plenty of dividers include to make up your mind and change it later on down the road. Top lid screws in which I love as other kits (the think tank stuff) left a lot of be desired. Well worth the expensive price tag IMO. Works on SKB iSeries 3i-2011 if you cut out two spots for the wheels. Very easy!

This is by far the best thing I have ever bought. If you are spending the money on a pelican case, this addition is well worth the money.

Seems like a quality product but somehow the manufacturer didn’t think it was worth including six screws to attach the lid organizer. It’s not worth sending it back but it’s worth my time to share. If you are thinking you can purchase this “kit” and simply just install…. nope🤷🏼‍♂️
