Stimmt! Edexcel GCSE German Higher Student Book

I ordered these books for my school from the publisher, but realised that I needed a few more so I ordered these from Amazon. The books from the publisher are printed on glossy, magazine-style paper and fill the entire page. The colours are bright. These books are printed on photocopier-type paper. They have also been shrunk to fit the page, so there is a gap around the edges. The colours are not as bright, and the cover is clearly made from a different material. I gave one to a pupil, and they noticed straight away that they were different from the other pupils' books. On the back page is printed "by Amazon Fulfillment" - so they are not printed to the same standard as from the publisher, yet cost practically the same amount. This is not made clear in the description. I returned these books and ordered from the publisher directly instead.

I missed this bit of information when buying the book "Audio files to accompany our Student Books are sold separately."Now when trying to find the audio files, they are not on Amazon and around £300 elsewhere. Since the hearing tasks are a big part of every topic, I feel cheated.

... as it says on the last page. Unfortunately on photocopier paper and bound quite badly. I ordered a second copy for my other child, and the difference is stark.

I bought this as a revision book for my daughter who is taking her GCSE in German several years early and it is very good. A long way from the language books I had to study, this is much more practical in revising the skills for everyday language use.

Unfortunately this book started to fall after a month of only being used once a week! We started to cellotape pages back in but didn't resolve the problem.
