Q: Does this paint absorb into the plastic bumper? Or will it eventually flake off and weather off like standard rattle-can paints?

Any paint will flake off if the surface is not prep properly. If you have a smooth bumper, you need to slightly sand it and then cleaned it with alcohol. I would spray a primer on the bumper first and after the proper drying time, use the SEM product. I painted my bumper 2 years ago and it is still fine.

Q: How resistant is this stuff to scratches, especially on interior trim parts?

This stuff is Great. Real professional grade. I painted the faded bumpers and trim on my Explorer, and almost a year later, no scratches or fading.

Q: Can you use sem bumper coater on inside door vinyl [74 dodge dart] & interior hard plastic parts with some deterioration?

Yes. Clean with any all purpose cleaner and let dry. Then wipe panels down with isopropyl alcohol or wax & grease remover and let dry. Then spray several light coats of SEM letting it dry between coats until you get the coverage you want. SEM bumper coater usually sticks very well to vinyl and hard plastic without the need of any primer. It dries faster and preforms better than any rattle can paint I have ever used.
