Better than what others have stated…
Ok, so people are posting these cross bars are cheap and rattle and/or make noise. I think they did not install them properly. It took me 45 minutes to get them measured - installed - and working as a mount point for my Thule rooftop cargo box. No shake, no rattles, they are not “flimsy” at all. I am impressedWith the ease of install, the stability and how quiet they are, and the construction - given their price point. Comparing the cost of these rails to the dealer cost of $495 for OEM cross bars on the 2021 Tahoe - these are an incredible value. They even came with an extra mounting bolt just in case you over-tighten and/or strip out a mount bolt. The part that mounts to the top rail of the Tahoe seems to be made of some type of steel - the actual cross bar seems to be some type of extruded aluminum - with a “tear drop” cross section shape. There are arrows that show which way the cross bars should be mounted. All things considered - I am happy with them and very happy I did not spend 3x as much for OEM cross bars. Drove 720 miles with a full cargo box on the roof - sometimes in excess of 80mph - no issues whatsoever.

I tried everything
I installed this on my 2022 Yukon XL. I adjusted them and even tightened them down using a hex head bit and ratchet because of some of the reviews I read. Went for a drive local and highway to see what rattling everyone was mentioning in some reviews. Mine rattled quite a bit. I was able to narrow the rattling down to the middle rubber strip/seal (the one that goes from end to end). I was able to determine that to be the cause as I drove around with set of tools and kept messing with it. It didn't rattle at all with the plastic covers off (or on) but you have to remove the rubber seal as it's loose and will slip off. After removing just the seal the rattling completely stopped with the covers both on or off. The problem with driving with the seal off is you get a crazy loud whistling/wind noise. What I discovered is the rubber seal slides from side to side, then gets caught too far to one side, catches wind and vibrates against the plastic end cover. Sounded and felt like I had a massage gun up against my seat belt. It was excessively load and vibrated a lot. I would assume once the cargo carrier is on it shouldn't rattle at all as long as the seal is evenly spaced and tightened down (cargo carrier would keep seal from sliding). I don't keep my cargo carrier on all the time though... Too tall and inconvenient for parking garages and most drive-thrus'. These cross bars will be too much of a PITA to keep installing and removing when my cargo carrier is off. So with that said, I'll be returning these.

Affordable and works, but lacks sturdy feeling
I read the reviews for this and felt they lack accuracy. Here is my review on top of a 2021 Tahoe with a Thule on top.The install is not simple/easy, but a major contributor to that is how the rails on the Tahoe are designed. They changed in 2021 to be a clamp-over-ridge style vs. my 2017 which had distinct screw holes on the rails (a much easier design). You need to tighter these rails in a way that clamps over the side rails. I found the key is to use a drill to get them extra tight. I have no noise or vibration. I assume the reason others reported this is because they hand tightened the screws where as I used a drill to get them extra tight. Just know when you install you will always wonder if they are on right due to the way Chevy has designed these. The rails hold a Thule well and I drove at around 80mph without issue. I do notice, however, the rails slightly bow with the Thule. This generally sums up my review. It works, they are very affordable, but quality just doesn’t feel A+. That is partly due to Chevy’s design and partly due to the quality of materials/build. When compared to the $500 Chevy version, I think it’s a fair trade off.

I tried so hard to like these!!
I wanted these to work so bad. I loved the price compared to the OEM brand. I installed them on a 2021 Yukon and yes they did fit. The directions are atrocious to say the least. They were super tight and tough to put on. A bunch of elbow grease and palm hammers were needed. The next day it sounded like I was driving a brick wall against a hurricane and the wind noise was unbearable. I then realized that the blades have 2 different edges. I assumed I installed them backwards. After removing and installing again I realized you can adjust them to get a much easier fit which the directions never clarified. At this point I was sure I had it right. Quick test drive and the car vibrated like crazy. Gave up removed them and spending the extra money on the OEM brand. I honestly really tried to make these work.

Vibration as suv speeds up is unbearable. Will make vehicle shake with vibration and also a lot of sound. Very low quality. Don’t waste your time or money.

HORRIBLE rattling noise
Product is decently built and pretty simple to install. Wind and vibration noise is literally so loud that you cannot hold a conversation in the car when installed. Removed and sent back for a refund

I took these to my Chevy dealer where I bought the 2022 Tahoe from and had them install them
only to find out no matter how tight you get the Allen head screws. The racks can and will lift off the rails. Let alone they make a horrible rattling sound that will not go away. I ended up spending the extra $325 and getting the OEM factory ones installed instead.. not recommended everyone
