Grana Padano is a similarly ancient cousin of Italy’s famous Parmiggiano-Reggiano. Its origins can be traced to Milan in the twelfth century, when the cheese was made by Cistercian monks. Use Grana Padano anywhere a sturdy grating cheese is called for, though it is also enjoyable as a table cheese.

This cheese tastes so bad you won’t be able to use it
This cheese had a very unpleasant taste. I wouldn’t even put it on pasta as it would ruin the food.Wouldn’t recommend this Grana Padano to any one. Steer clear of this cheese.
