we haven't been able to test it due to the oar lock insert split while inserting into the boat and the oar sleeve was missing a piece so cannot review this item until I resolve the other two issues.

Dimensionally correct, as advertised.

Plastic broke.
Worked well a few times until one of them snapped. There is no steel inside the ring. Just plastic. Light duty.
