I bought this to brush my 2 year olds hair, but now I use it on my own hair more then my big brush. I have thick, curly hair and its very gentle on my tangles. When I'm done brushing my hair, my toddler likes to sit behind me and "brush" it some more. The occasional taps with the brush hurt a lot less then my big brush.I love this little brush. It's sturdy, gentle and good looking.

The brush is small and compact, which is nice for portability. However, the bristles aren’t stiff enough, so it tends to pull on my long hair a lot. I wouldn't recommend it for longer hair, but it might work better for shorter hair.
