This was a replacement for an originally installed door opener when new garaged doors were installed. It works as good as the original!

Setup was easy and quick
If this is a replacement for a failed (or intermittent) controller and you have the MyQ app on your phone you don't need your Wi-Fi password to connect. You only need to reprogram your remote transmitters. The reprogram process went unusually well. One remote programed on the 1st try, one remote programed on the 2nd try, and the outdoor remote programed on the 2nd try. Note: they all worked on the 1st try but the reprogram didn't 'stick' so I had to do them again. Much better experience than I've ever had in the past with reprograming remotes!

Did NOT work
I hooked it up as the installation instructions showed and no matter how I connected the wires, it did not work. I put the old single button switch back on and it works fine, just as it did before I tried to replace it. I want to return the item
