Q: can this hose be used to transfer whiskey from a glass bottle to a spigot without affecting the flavor of the whiskey?

You've gone to the trouble to make some nice drinkable stuff, don't screw it up with inappropriate tubing at the last step.. You need some Nalgene™ Non-Phthalate Clear Plastic PVC Tubing. Industrial grade, not very expensive and definitely used by anyone that doesn't want to add any off flavors to liquids. Easily available in diameters from 1/16 inch to several inches. I've used it in the wine industry. Just search for "Nalgene PVC tubing" or go to Proper Pour which sells short lengths at a good price. They are an online dealer on Amazon. I haven't bought from them, they were the first I found for you. This way if it isn't drinkable you can't blame the tubing. Best of luck.

Never heard of "autoclaved". Use it for any thing your heart desires. Whatever turns you on.

Q: Can this tube inflate?

It might but I wouldn't try it. What in the world are you trying to do?
