Complete Junior Chef Cookbook

My 10-year-old grandson loves to cook with his grandfather. I thought I would purchase this cookbook so he can bake on his own. He has been happy with the book, as well as, with using it.

It has some good recipes but I was disappointed they don't have pictures of all the recipes. Otherwise a lovely book.

Ordered this as a Christmas gift for my 11 year old great-nephew who has developed an interest in cooking. He was pleased with the book and called to tell me which recipes he plans to start making soon. His mother told me that he went to bed reading through the book the night he opened it. So, I would say it's a hit.

Beautifully written however the recipes were advanced for 8 years old. It would be handy if it progressed from doing all things like making ice cream and cookies and chocolate sauce to buying something already made and moving from there. But recipes tried so far are good and a beautiful book.
