Fantastic piece of equipment
Very happy with this mixer amplifier. Great sound, great features. Build quality is very very good even though made in China. Greate features. Incredible price for all the features and quality. My only beef was that amazon shipped it in the box the product came in and the delivery people beat the shite out of the box. But thankfully the product was not damaged. 5 stars to Peavey!! One star to amazon delivery.

Stay digital and this is really a special amp - go analog to it and beware!
I bought this as a fill in amp when I need it for a gig. What I really liked was the Bluetooth. I tested it against by Peavey 8300 and 8600D using a iPhone 6 plus as the sound source and found some interesting facts about it. First, my ears are old and tired so I used my wife and daughter as arbiters of the sound since my wife is a professional orchestra clarinetist and my daughter is a cellist with young ears. Using an analog 3.5mm cable and a PR15 speaker paired with a PR10, the full analog 8300 was the benchmark of sound excellence. The 8600D sounded just as good to me, but my wife and daughter said it had a slight super high pitch noise that was faint but was irritating. The 6500 was the worst to the ladies with even more super high pitched sounds and I could hear what seemed to be a thin-ness to the sound. After trying all of the effects, they were unanimous that nothing worked other than to bring the highest channel on the EQ all the way down, and still it wasn't great (nowhere near the 8600D, and even further than the 8300). Next, I compared the iPhone over Bluetooth to the 6500 and it was better than the 8300 amp setup. All used the same speakers and cables. The richness was awesome and the ladies said that the high frequency craziness was gone. So - if you are going digital to analog, make sure you go to an analog amp and keep it to only one conversion. If you are going digital to analog to digital, the 8600D does a much better job than this guy. If you are going full digital, this amp is the cat's meow. I have not used this as a Bluetooth mixer to my pair of 8600Ds to drive my array of speakers since I would rather use a plain mixer board for that, but my spidey sense says that bringing in a Bluetooth into this unit (or making a USB stick with your set on it) and using it to drive other amps would probably work well if that is what you wanted. I really like this amp as a gap-amp for something like a toast and ambiance music that is too far away from the dance floor to use that system. Legendary Peavey quality means that it will probably work long after the gigs take its beauty from it. This amp pulls its weight, and I really like it.Update 20DEC18 - this amp exploded and caught fire. I could see the flames through the graphic equalizer and the smell was pretty strong. I took it outside to let it stop smoldering and now it is finished. From start to end it was a good amp with great acoustics, and I probably used it about 400 times, so I guess I got my money out of it. I threw in an old non-digital amp in it's place (the one that it replaced) and the old dinosaur still sounds pretty good, even though it is only a 100 watt.I lowered my rating from 5 stars to 3 since it caught fire. I am fine with a pop and silence, but flames are not acceptable to me.

Love this amp/mixer!!!The power and ability to contour the sound using mid- morph and kosmos parameters has given me the warmest and truest piano sound I have ever had. Great reaction from audiences and colleagues!
