The rods were durable and exactly what I wanted for my so son’s room. I had no probably installing these myself. Was a simple design and held my heavy thermal curtains with no issues. Would definitely recommend to purchase.

Wow I’m actually shocked to hear negative reviews on this product. I received the product and I didn’t even need any instructions on how to install or put together.I am so glad I came across this rod for it being very easy to install, strong and sturdy. The fact that I have a choice to change the size is a plus and it’s strong and fit the curtains I bought with a perfect and sleek elegant look. I love the product so far that I plan to buy more. I even recommended it fir my daughters home.

So let me start off by saying these are not terrible curtain rods. The material being used is definitely sturdy. The only thing is they are not easily adjustable. They do not telescope adjustable ( slide in and out to adjust length ). They come in sections and if you are like me one of my windows is an odd size and the smallest rod was too long with all the attached pieces but then the rod would be too small by removing one of the pieces / sections. You would really need exact measurements to hang these and keep in mind that you have to assemble each section once it arrives.They were easy to mount and had pretty decent instructions. The instructions did ask for a drill bit size that was bigger than you would actually need to keep that in mind as well.It also comes with these clear plastic rings that you would have to use if you have curtains with the metal eyelets this will prevent the load scratching screeching noise of your curtains on the rods.All in all I want to give this a 5 star but also did not really like the design of the sections of rod as that was not what I was expecting.

I bought three of these rods in two sizes. Each was top quality. They look good and perform well. They are sturdy and easy to assemble and install the curtains on. One warning--be sure to measure your window and select the appropriate rod for your particular job. These are not slide-adjustable.

Loved this product. I'm in a rental that had standard anchors already drilled into the walls, and these curtain rods were the perfect fit. Easy to screw into my existing anchors, lightweight and sturdy. I love that the rods come in ~4 pieces so that you can get to the perfect length based on the location of each window. They also came with little plastic rings to ensure your curtains don't scratch up the rod.Highly recommend, especially at this price point.

This curtain rod kit came with everything I needed to install my blackout curtains and was very easy to install. I had this installed and my curtains hung in a matter of minutes.Edit: I saw other reviews saying this curtain rod is flimsy or weak. So far I have been using it daily (sliding the curtains open and shut) for three months, and it is just as sturdy as the day I installed it.Edit: 1 year later and no catastrophic curtain rod failure to report. I'd say it's a safe buy.

The black finish is nice and I like the ends. It was easy to screw together. It came in 4 pieces that you screw together. You leave out or include the number of pieces you need to get the desired length. I needed all of the pieces. The rod is not telescoping so I think if I weren't going to use all of the pieces that might be annoying to have to store.

It is down-right dishonest to list these as 'telescoping' curtain rods. Every curtain rod anyone has ever seen that is described as telescoping are finitely adjustable, as the rods are two pieces and one slides into the other, allowing you to choose exactly the length you desire.These rods come in sections and you screw them together in fixed lengths-- possibly the lengths that most people require, but I was counting on getting a truly telescoping rod. There is a single photo that somewhat depicts this, but without context, it's impossible to know they aren't actually telescoping based on the description.Now my installation is sub-optimal due to the lack of adjustment as depicted in the description.And while they are fairly sturdy, mine were NOT straight. I was forced to spin the rod until it looked the straightest from the side and then lock them in with the screws on the mounts. The curve was extremely noticeable until I made this adjustment.These factors made my install much harder than it had to be and end result not exactly what my wife was hoping for-- I wish sellers would be held accountable for the words they use in their descriptions.Disappointed.
