Does it have a separate tardis exterior?

Actually, the TARDIS exterior shown does separate from the Main Console Room and folds up into its police box form. Which you can pretend its traveling through time and space.

I am worried about not getting all of the pieces. Have a lot of people had the problem?

Let me add a much needed update. As of now, 3-30-2023, I’ve built 7 expensive sets since February of this year. Of those 7 sets, 3 were missing significant pieces. My Ferrari 488 GTE AF Corse #51 had 21 missing pieces. I attempted to order them all via the LEGO website’s missing bricks section on 3-8. The order was declined. I tried two more times and both were declined.

So I called and got a LEGO customer service rep. She said she’d place the order on her end and it would go through and I would get an email saying when it shipped. I waited until the 13th and had heard nothing. So I called again and spoke with a rep. He said he saw the denied parts orders and it made zero sense. He’d never seen a reps order denied and that my pieces were 100% well within the amount allowed by LEGO. He then placed the order for all missing parts from (at that time) 2 sets. I did get a confirmation email that time.

Fast forward to the 26th. I’ve seen nothing. So I called again. Spoke with another rep who looked into it and said the parts were in GA awaiting customs to clear them. He also said that the online ordering system was useless and to always call in missing pieces via a customer sales rep there. I was told that once the order cleared, it should be here within a day. So here I am on March 30th and NO PARTS have shown up!!

I bought a used lot of Technic pieces online last week and was able to finish 1 build. I have an almost $1K LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series Millennium Falcon I’ve yet to start out of fear of the missing pieces I’ll run into since it has over 7,000 pieces.

So YES, for the past few years, the quality control at LEGO has gone straight downhill and I’m missing pieces on nearly 50% of the sets I’ve built over the past 8 weeks alone!  Read the reviews on LEGO’s website starting with 4 Star and heck, even many 5 star reviews. Missing critical pieces is the new normal for LEGO. And even worse is the fact that numerous others aren’t receiving their missing parts orders either.

I absolutely love LEGO sets and build them often. I’ve spent thousands only to find missing parts have no boundaries. From $160 sets to the highest priced sets. It’s ruined the relaxing fun for me. Now I’m always waiting to hit the first missing part. If I don’t, I feel very lucky. So if you don’t have a pile of spare LEGO’s  laying around, you are flipping a coin on a great and fun build vs a miserable waiting game that may or may not show up.

I still actively buy LEGO sets and build. But no matter how many bad reviews they get, nothing changes which is very sad as a lifelong builder.

Are the bags the bricks come in supposed to be labeled?  Every set I've bought so far has had the bags labeled so you can easily build them in section

I honestly don't remember any labels on the bags, but looking at the manual shows them for this particular kit just being sorted into groups by color, rather than by section.  I do not see any indication in the manual that there is any numbered bag system for this set.  Individual "module" type sections are illustrated for construction and then those sections are added as an item to the larger, growing assembly.  This one was my first "bigger" build and I had no problems at all with the assembly of this kit.
