Not installed. I believe it increases the value of the Lego TARDIS
I am giving this item five stars because it exists. I have the TARDIS Lego set, but it remains sealed in its box. I display the box with contents. By having this lighting kit, I feel I am increasing the value of the already valuable collector Lego set. The pictures of the set installed look great and so I have a picture of the TARDIS lit by the lighting kit along side the box.

I've installed a few different light kits from different brands recently and this one is my favorite. Each light is an individual item, independently wired, which plugs into a small junction board. If one light dies, you can replace just that one rather than the whole kit. Also, the wires feel slightly more substantial than other kits, so I don't feel like I'm going to break it as easily... Yet they still wire in nicely.Once installed, the lights really make the TARDIS look sweet. From the lights under the main platform to the color changing lights down the center, everything is so cool.Note this kit does require the police box part stay attached to the interior platform. Once installed, the wires and everything won't allow you to detach the pieces anymore without detaching the lights.Despite that... Really cool. Highly recommended.

I will never use this! Into the garbage!
What the heck! I’ve gotten light kits before for several of my sets. I should have gone with the same company. The way the description read, it contained “real Lego pieces”. Nope! There are no pieces here. Other kits I’ve gotten you simply replace the old piece with the new light one. There are no pieces here. Just wires and bulbs. No thank you!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! This is not an “easy” kit like advertised!

Really Cool Lights make the Lego even cooler!
This is a really cool addition to an already cool Lego set-up! The pieces are very intricate and this came with great step-by-step instructions on how to retrofit an already built Lego TARDIS with the upgraded lights.
