The Wind in the Willows
S**H
A lovely , non offensive , satire on human beings .
This author has a very simple, friendly , flowing , attention and heart capturing style . Though written in a lighthearted style , the book holds up a clear mirror showing us where , on the long road of life , we sometimes take the wrong turn ... and then persist in doing so , ignoring all the golden advices of well meaning friends worth their weight in gold . Ah , to have such friends ( I won't reveal their names to potential readers ) who , in spite of repeated snubs, still care to prevent you from rushing headlong into danger, and, when you, as you fully deserve, become surrounded by dismal and ugly outcomes of your own making , they care to still stay and help ! In our world , people just tend to vanish when darkness starts gathering 🤔 . But , truly said , to have a friend , you must be a friend .5 star book for me !
