CooluxUniversal Remote Control for all Samsung LCD LED HDTV 3D Smart TV

Does the job perfectly, well pleased

We confirmed this remote works on Samsung TV model #s UN46EH5300FXZC & UN46H5203. We can also point the remote away from the TV and it still works suggesting it may have a higher transmitter power. We're buying another one so we can replace both our original Samsung remotes - they don't work quite as well. The original Samsung remotes show BN63-09302A on the inside of the battery cover; one is model AA59-00580A and one is BN59-01178W (models showing on the front at bottom left). The CooLux version "Samsung 78" is more similar to the model AA59-00580A in terms of similar buttons.

I was a bit hesitant to purchase this remote as I have a really old Samsung LCD TV. I took a chance and the remote was compatible. This remote was light weight compared to the original. I won't say it worked flawlessly, but it did work for a little bit and then one day it suddenly died. I've tested by replacing new batteries but no luck. Now it's back to walking to the TV and adjusting the volume, source, power etc. Probably burnt a couple of calories doing that this week.

This is an amazing remote for the price. I have 2 samsung TV, one old plasma ( 8 years old ) and a LED smart tv that is 4 years old . Straight out of the box the remote worked perfectly with the smart tv. The smart hub key and all the specific fontions worked as needed. It even works with my samsung sound bar. For the old plasma it woked for the most basic fontion but worked anyways !!! Would buy it again !!!

I am a bit technologically challenged, so I was really REALLY pleased that to get this remote to work, all I had to do was put batteries in it.I have two different Samsung smart TVs - one is new and the other is about 4 years old. This remote immediately worked for both TVs without any work on my part. I can actually use this remote on the tv in my bedroom and then walk downstairs to use it on the TV there and it works seamlessly. The range is good, too, as long as I point in the general vicinity of the tv, it receives the signal from the remote.I don't have cable - I watch Netflix & amazon prime mostly. This remote works just fine for that - turn on the TV, select my streaming service, scroll through shows and select one, adjust volume. The remote doesn't seem to use much energy, either - the batteries last MONTHS before I need to recharge them. My only complaint is that the only buttons that light up are the volume and channel buttons - not the buttons for streaming services, so it is a bit tough to use in the dark. I wish the center "select" button lit up; that would be very useful.Overall, I'm really pleased with this remote - so much so that I now own two, one for each TV. For $16.99 (price at the time of review), I feel like I got a good value for my money.
