Davis 6312 Vantage Pro2 Wireless Console/Receiver

This is a great wireless weather station. When coupled with the Davis Vantage Vue ISS sensor unit, which you install outside, it gives you about all the weather information that you are likely to ever need. Examples are: the outside/ Inside temp/humidity, wind velocities, rain totals, rain rates, the heat index and/or the wind chill at any given moment and several other pieces of data. While the accompanying instruction/setup guide is very helpful, you may find the need to call the Davis Instrument folks to walk you through one or two of the set up steps. If you do need to do that, the folks at Davis are great to deal with and should have you up and running within minutes.

Arrived very quickly after I ordered it. Wanted a second console for my weather station. Is exactly the same as the one that came with my station that I purchased 10 years ago. Is working great. Should have bought this sooner.

Davis weather station is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone. However, after 15 years when my consul died, I ordered a new one on line. Sadly it was not compatible with the rain gauge and anemometer and would not work because I had ordered the american version which works on a different frequency. but in every other way is identical.

No surprises here - typical Davis reliability and accuracy. It is so nice to be able to run multiple consoles in the house, from one outdoor weather station.
