Can handle power well!
Used the set at a Valentine and retirement gig. I put them through tremence power, and held up well. No distortion. Built in crossover did it's job well.

Unbeatable Deal At This Price-Point
Our 15" subwoofer arrived in perfect condition;excellent packaging job. We usually run two 15" full range top cabs in stereo with an 18" Cerwin-Vega subwoofer filling in the desired thump but recently needed to add a much smaller set-up to our inventory and chose to give the the Yorkville a chance. Wow...seriously, wow. It took us about 20 minutes to tune it to our DJ mixer's EQ and a DriveRack, and within an hour of steady use, driven by low-to-mid power, that little 15" subwoofer tightened up and started performing WAY past this price-point. You cannot add a single watt more power to in than it can handle (depends on your amp), but if you keep it at, or below that level, this baby kicks out some serious thump with clarity, not just formless boom. We're leaving the Yorkville logo on just to aggravate the snobbish purist who always nit-pick every piece of gear's pedigree! We may upgrade the components, because that's an option, but so far, stock is perfect. Deal of the century, and all we can say is that we shall give their 18" deluxe subwoofer's a chance. IF they are as tuned and made at same quality as the 15" we received from Amazon, it's too good of a deal to pass up. Still scratching our heads as to how they sell these at this price, but hey...all good!

Good value for money
I bought 2 of these for my band to use in smaller clubs. Our jbl subs are much too large to use in smaller venues. For the price paid these are wellbuilt. The speaker has a huge magnet. The downside to these subs is that to get the best use out of them you need to either have a power amp with a crossover in it or a rack mounted crossover. If you dont use a crossover the speaker is really a full range speaker. I bought a couple of passive crossover circuit boards (called Low Pass filters) that I willmount one in each sub box so I dont have to use any external crossovers. The subs look good and the wiring is adequately sized, but I will upgrade to heavier wire anyway. The solder joints are well done. The speaker is just wood screwed into the mdf faceboard so I will upgrade that to t-nuts and machine threaded screws.Overall this sub is a pretty good deal. It's an even better deal if you know how to do a few upgrades. They are made in China, which isnt really mentioned anywhere in the item description. But lots of lower end sound cabinets coming out now from there are pretty good values.

Nice
Bought this to add a strong bottom end to my DJ setup as well as an extra 15 for my bass amp.

Well built, sounds good
I was looking for an inexpensive 15 inch cabinet for my bass guitar.I got this and ran it off my 100 watt carvin amp using it as a slave. Sounds really good, as good if not better than an old all-in-one 15 inch speaker Peavey setup that I used to have.If you are looking for a 15 inch cabinet to use with your bass guitar, this is reasonably priced and sounds good. The build quality is very good.I would have no problem using this on stage.

🤷🏾♂️
If you want massive bass go with a 18" This one kicks but speaker will blow especially if you play certain songs.

Fantastic for a home theatre
In building my ultimate home theatre I needed a passive subwoofer. There are a ton of active subs but I have 4 stereo amps for a 7.1 system. The Rockville SBG1158 15" had the right specs with response down to 20 Hz, so I gave it a try. WOW! Not only will it rattle the whole room during those action scenes it does a wonderful job of filling the bottom of the musical spectrum. I really like to hear the bass in my music though I don't pump it abnormally. When the tunes have the content to go way down this sub delivers. I tested it with some super bass tunes and it actually moved the whole floor. Also with the average musical tune it has the finesse to fill in below my Q Acoustics towers even at low volumes. I guess the most appreciated benefit is its ability to effortlessly do its job without distorting or sounding muddy. I am extremely impressed.

Great bang for the buck!
I recently bought a pair of SBG1158 passive subs for my home audio/ two channel home theater system. I'm powering them with a 250 watt Rythmik Audio plate amp crossed at 120 Hz 4th order. These sound awesome! I'm getting lows down to a clean 25 Hz. I measured them and verified this. I just find it hard to believe how good they sound for the price. They are clean and pack a good wallop. I don't think I'll be buying anything else for the bass on my system for a long time.
