Could work for that use as a replacement, but it is stretchy so maybe go down a size so you don't end up pants less in the water.

I am in love with these panties! They are cute and so soft and comfortable. They color (spectrum blue) is beautiful, very vivid. The quality is fantastic. I was impressed at how soft the lace is. I’ve ordered more and can’t wait to receive them.
