Worked for me
Used the accelerator pump gasket and bigger jet and gasket more then surprised that the stuff actually fit 😳 my gasket was just fabric on one side and rubber with a hole on the other 😆

I was given a 1979 Honda Valkyrie as a gift. Had been sitting since 2000. I ordered this carb kit and rebuilt the Carbs, 1st start in 24 years and it came to life. Excited to have this bike.

Good kit
Kit was excellent except no intake manifold gasket in the kit it did say complete kit so I was thinking it would be included. My fault for not reading thru parts list.

Not everything worked
Included Air shutoff valve wouldn't fit inside carb Also air shutoff valve tiny o ring wasn't included in set...if these were the reasons I wanted this kit and needed them to get it working, i would not be happy. Everything else seemed ok

Only fits bikes with no emissions equipment
Does not fit most of the listed years Yamaha dealer gave me a full list of carb changes from years listed on this carb kit. Yamaha had 15 major carb changes over the years and each model change had sub variants depending on the state the bike was sold in. This will ONLY fit vstar 650 custom models not sold in or intended for use in CA FL OR WA NY AZ NV CO NM AK meaning if your bike was sold with a catalytic converter (any emissions equipment) if your carb has a solenoid on the bottom of the float this kit will not work for you. Quality was just okay not great not bad but definitely inaccurate in terms of the items description.

Buy this only for the O-Rings, not the jets. Avoid otherwise.
The jets are absolutely wrong. The O-Rings are good. The screws are OK. I do not suggest this kit because you will need another kit to make up for what this kit is missing. The needle valve set is absolutely the wrong length and by far the wrong port. The port should only be 1.0mm, no bigger, but what ever this size is, its far too large, and the whole assembly is far too long (by at least 2 mm. Do not purchase this kit for the jets, buy it for the screws and O-rings only.
