Multiple applications needed
This product worked great! I was a little torn with so many reviews saying it was glittery and grey. It was. BUT, the glitter and grey were gone after the second application. I am including 4 pics. The brownish grey is the color it started off as. The first application looked rough to be honest. The second application looked much better. In truth, I could have stopped after that application and been happy with the result. They were definitely black (though the lighting was bad for that pic and it kinda looks more like a charcoal). After the 3rd coat it was perfect. These boots are size 8 and go up to my knee. The one bottle of paint handled all 3 coats on both boots. If the picture looks a little textured it's because these are faux suede so sometimes they look that way depending on how the light hits them. I also painted the heel of my shoe and it worked there as well. Bonus: it's easy to wash off with soap and water from your body and it dries almost the instant you touch it which helps keep it from getting transferred everywhere. As someone who sews and modifies clothes often, this brand is now a staple in my kit. All in all, $6 is cheap to avoid buying new shoes.

Old reliable
I paint on clothing quite often and as of right now this is the only paint I trust. I normally I use white as a base for my projects but it is not required. I think matte is the way to go but you can mix a different type of paint to create different effects. The only thing I suggest is use the paint while it’s still wet! There will be times where you leave it out for a little bit and it will still be wet and you might think it is okay to use, you can but it will not have the same effect so just keep that in mind. Overall I trust this product and will continue to reorder it when necessary.I have included some pictures of pieces I have done. They have all been with this paint! Some of these are reaching two years old and still look like this. The paint is washable so you don’t have to worry about it coming off. Give it try!

Quality white fabric paint, though there are some things to keep in mind...
This was purchased for a cosplay I wore earlier this month and overall, I think it did a decent job at the task I had for it (which was painting on a black body suit to resemble a character's clothing) but there are a few complaints. So, what are the positives? It performs well as a fabric paint, I haven't noticed any of the paint washing off or fading or anything like that, and like the bottle states, it dries pretty soft and flexible! But, there are some things to keep in mind.First of all, this paint is able to dry softly because it's very runny and isn't the most opaque of paints. When using it, it's an absolute that there is a barrier behind the surface it's being put on because it can soak through fabric; I painted it onto a cotton/nylon bodysuit and it basically bled straight through to the other side. Also, if you want a truly opaque color payoff (as in a truly solid white shape with none of the fabric's color showing) with whatever you paint, you have to apply several layers of paint. I think this stuff works best if you want to be able to build up the coverage or use the fabric's color to create a certain effect with the paint. Also, this stuff says "matte" and compared to the "slick" version, this does qualify as matte in that it doesn't look wet/shiny in the light and tends to not lay upon the fabric as heavily or allow for it to be as dimensional, but the color glacier is not 100% matte either. It is full of tiny, tiny bits of glitter that kind of give the paint a shimmery effect in some cases (which is probably why it's called "glacier." It resembles the sparkle of snow). It's not super noticeable, but the glitter is there and can be seen in certain lighting, especially if you do lighter coats of paint (the more layers you apply, the less prominent the glitter is, but a light layer on dark fabric is noticeable).I think for most people's needs, this paint will do just fine. I personally did not find this particular type of paint to be the End All Be All for my project, since I had very large areas to cover with totally opaque shapes, but I suppose I should have realized that the "soft" version of the paint would be more runny and light in coverage in order to allow it to dry so soft. I don't fault the paint so much as I fault myself for expecting it to cover solid black fabric perfectly in one go, as if it were thick oil paint on a canvas, while still being super soft and flexible. The price is a little much, but unless you're covering a lot of area in a lot of layers, this bottle should last for several projects! There is a smell to the paint, as well, but it's not especially strong or unpleasant (just kind of smells like paint, you know?) and I wouldn't say it would warrant an open window or masks or anything.

Quality product!
The media could not be loaded. I used Tulip Soft gold glitter paint to change my holiday top from dull to special. It was a new top and I chose not to prewash as per the instructions. This product was easy to use and gave the garment an attractive glow. I actually enjoyed the painting process so much that I wanted to use the leftover paint in the bottle to put a soft golden glow on whatever else was lying around. There was plenty of paint in the bottle to actually do more projects. Another practical consideration is that even though I inadvertently got paint on my fingers, I did not end up with glitter in my eyes or any other unwanted areas. I wish I had something else to paint with this.🤩

Works on fabric luggages
I used the yellow paint on my soft sided luggage and it exceeded my expectations (dried quickly and didn't run). I just finished the luggage today, so I don't know how it's going to hold up. I plan to put a plastic cover over my luggage. I'll update after my trip.

Price GOUGING
nicely opaque. Always low or no stock in local stores. Forced to come here to finish my project. Amazon seller price gouging the color green charging DOUBLE! Charging $15 for 4oz for Green! To finish my project, i had to buy 8 at that ridonk price. I get great results with these soft matte ones,
