The chair arrived on time and was well packaged. Like in many of the comments, the underside of the seat had several small damage marks from the factory, but all visible areas of the seats and frame were in good condition. I put the chair together myself in perhaps fifteen minutes. I didn't find it that hard. It comes with a little tool, but I used my ratchet on the bolts instead and saved myself much time and effort. I kept all the bolts loose until I was able to fit the last bolt into place and then tightened them down. That last bolt did take a minute or two to align correctly, but after that it was simple. The chair looks good and is comfortable for my big frame. It feels quite solid too. Interestingly at 5' 10" my feet barely touch the ground, so if your a short person be aware of that and that your feet might end up hanging in space.

I have bought several chairs on the high and low end price range from normal weight to big and tall for a person of normal weight. All of the chairs I bought seemed to be relatively good quality and some better than others all broke or became relatively uncomfortable, chipped, Etc. over a short period of time. This chair hands down is the most comfortable chair and most sturdy chair I bought . The price was good for chairs, I paid more for other chairs thinking it would last longer just to feel cheated later. This chair doesn’t come with directions, self explanatory put screws in hole and tighten with tool included. The chair is easy to assemble but is tricky to line up. If you figure it out how to line everything up correctly by balancing on something to do it, put seat on first, don’t tighten it and then slide top into the bottom and line the holes up and tighten slightly until you get your chair in place with all screws and then tighten everything, it will be an easy assembly otherwise it will turn into a very frustrating hard experience that isn’t necessary. I only figured it out because I been putting sooo many chairs together ( wasn’t my plan) and this was one of the easiest. Worth the purchase if you have the space, it is a wide chair but very comfortable in my opinion . Note ( regardless your weight if you want to save money over the long run buying a higher weight capacity chair seems to last the longest because they are built for sturdiness). Lower weight capacity chairs specifications aren’t always accurate and seems to look good but don’t hold up long.

This chair is the perfect size for me. Some chairs' seat are an inch or so too high and my feet do not rest completely on the floor so all my leg weight is supported in my thighs which press against the seat and make them sore. With this chair, my feet are on the ground so weight gets transferred to the ground and my thighs feel much better. The chair is still high enough that I can sit up straight, and I can sit down and stand up easily. The chair is very sturdy and the hand rails offer a lot of support. Looks nice too. Best chair I've bough ever maybe from a functional point of view for a tall heavy guy.Regarding assembly: I have bought two of these. The first took longer than expected to put together considering there are only 8 bolts. The second went together in a few minutes. Some tips:1. Do not tighten the bolts until the end. Some of the holes you put the bolts through are actually ovals that let you adjust the chair to line up the other holes - as long as the bolts are not tight.2. Have an awl or small flathead screwdriver handy that you can use to line up the holes.3, There is padding over some of the holes which mean you might have to push more than expected for the bolts to catch.

Chair was comfortable till the welding broke three months after owning it

I bought these chairs for my dad and uncle who are big and tall. Both have sciatica and weigh over 350 lbs. They said it's the best chair they've ever had. It's very sturdy. The seat is the right height and not too soft (which is great for big and tall people). Assembly was a breeze. I'm not sure why all of the bad reviews.... seriously. If you're thinking about purchasing one, do it!

This is a really nice chair. Soft leather, sturdy frame, seemingly easy assembly with minimal parts. However... 1st attempt: What should have taken one person 5 minutes to put together, with only an Allen wrench and 8 bolts, took 2 people over an hour to do. It seemed as if the pre drilled holes did not lineup with the frame, necessitating the bolts to be at an angle. After finally getting all 8 bolts in place, the chair was super wobbly. The manufacturer said it was not stable for the elderly bariatric patient I got it for, if it was wobbling. Amazon was awesome and immediately sent out a replacement. #2 never made it, and mysteriously was undeliverable for some unknown reason. Amazon again being awesome, sent out another replacement knowing I needed it within 24 hours. #3 Arrived tonight and I spent over an hour Trying to put it together. Again the holes not lining up properly not able to get all the bolts and straight they were at an angle then they were stripped and just kept spinning without tightening. This was a nightmare. I took a break when to reviews and started reading about the difficulties putting this together and how you need to leave all the bolts loose to try to get all the bolts in the holes leave them loose and then tighten them all once they're in position. Good advice as it turns out! My 2nd attempt at chair #3 only took me 20 minutes, And I switched out the screws and the back of chair #1 for chair #3 to avoid the stripping that was happening. Success! But now this one wobbles. Not as much as chair number one and I am not going through another return or exchange. So I am taking my chances with chair number 3. If it didn't wobble, it easily would have got 5 stars and just a caution about putting it together not being as easy as it seems. I want to love this chair, But alas...wobble=3 stars.
