Amazon tells me I bought these about 18 months ago, but I never got around to writing a review. I should have, they're worth it. I don't give 5 stars easily, but these do exactly what they're supposed to and have worked flawlessly since Day 1. (Literally: I got them and immediately installed them in my car.) I considered these and the ones that come with a "dock" and I'm glad I got these because having the separate bases makes them more versatile.I use them pretty much the same way one of the example pictures shows, to hold my phone cables on my dashboard when they're not in use. I've used them for Lightning cables, USB-C cables, and micro/mini USB cables; anything larger will be too big to fit. For me, the important consideration is that they have held fast through two full Texas summers, with my car parked in the open air. It gets pretty hot here and most adhesive products fails eventually, these haven't yet. I did have the magnet in one of the bases come loose and stay attached to the cable end, but a drop of superglue fixed that and it's been solid ever since.The magnets are strong enough. My definition of that is that they hold tight going over normal road bumps and such, but they come off if my husband accidentally catches them with his backpack strap.My only complaint is that I wish they were cheaper. (I bought the 3-pack, the singles are way too expensive!) If they cost less, I'd buy more.EDIT, August 2019:Now it's the end of the 4th Texas summer since I installed these, and they are still working perfectly. Never fell off my dashboard, the magnets still hold securely. If you need something like this, these are the ones to get.EDIT, January 2023:Three more Texas summers have come and gone and these things are still going strong. I take back everything I said about them being too expensive because apparently they last forever. Now that all our stuff is wireless, we put the magnets on the straps for our masks to hang up in the car when we’re not wearing them.

The media could not be loaded. I have spent countless dollars on various products to be able to manage my many cables to stop having to search for them on the floor between a table and chair or bed! They either have poor adhesive and/or have a slit in the front that you press the cable through that the cable ends up slipping out of when you grab the cable. THIS product is what I’ve been searching for! The instructions are piss poor, but once you figure out how to put it together, as you can see from my video, it works great! I’m not understanding though the comments about the magnets not being strong enough. I see no issues with this product’s functionality whatsoever, and so I wholeheartedly recommend it!

They don't fit my Thunderbolt 4 and Thunderbolt 5 cables due to their thickness. Otherwise, they would definitely deserve 5 stars. Very easy to install and do exactly what they're supposed to do. I'm using these to hide cables but still have easy access to them. I have these installed upside down under my monitor stand, and the magnet is strong enough to hold the cable up.

I really love these clips and they work super well for me. I've had mine in use for about 6 months now with no issues. I got these to connect my over ear headphone charging cable to my desk while it was not in use so the cable wouldn't fall down the backside of my desk, and the cable fit easily and snugly into the medium sized tubing provided, ensuring a good fit.The magnetic parts aren't super strong but good enough that I've never had my cable fall off or be knocked off, but I wouldn't recommend these if you're wanting to hold something vertically say on a wall unless the cable you're wanting to hold there is very light and won't get smacked accidentally by anything.Some reviewers had issues with the clip coming undone from around the cable and then being unable to re-clip it together but I have not experienced any issue like that, my clip has stayed connected perfectly for the past 6 months.All in all I love these little clips and if I get more cables that I think would be good with these then I am for sure buying these clips again.

I like these enough to keep them until I find something better. I hate having my charging cables fall to the floor after I'm done using them. I really don't like the adhesive rubber cable holders that you either have to push the cord back into when done or slide the cord through the holder to get extra length but don't have full use of the cable. So these seemed like the perfect solution! I really like the concept - the cable holder stays attached to the cable when you're using it, and you just pop it back onto the holder when you don't want to use it for charging, but want to keep it in place. My struggle with it is that the magnet is too weak. It will hold the cable, but I really have to place it carefully and push the holder into place. If you lightly brush or knock by the holder, it will detach.Unlike some of the other reviews I haven't had an issue with the sticky adhesive being too weak - I also haven't tried to remove it, so I can't comment on that. I really like the concept, and if it could be improved upon (mostly the magnet) I would be buying these for everywhere - home, car, office. Until then, I'm still going to be looking for something better.
