Much bigger than I was expecting!
I am absolutely thrilled with this wooden bird aviary. The directions were very clear, took about 45 minutes to put together. It is very sturdy. Plenty of room for my pair of doves. The wheels roll easily when I put the aviary on the porch. Highly recommend..5 ⭐️plus!!

Mint finish
Love how this looks! Wheels are a little cheep and hard to roll but not super heavy. Housing my doves and they are able to spread their wings

Exactly what I needed
I love this thing. It’s very well made and much bigger than I thought it would be. My friend came over and did the majority of the work. It took an hour and that was with a few minutes break. I would definitely recommend it I got it for my silkie chickens in case it gets super cold and they need to come in. It is definitely worth the money it would make a great cage for a parrot or cockatoo.

Buyer Beware-Scam-Do not buy low quality/no full refund option
I was so excited to find a nice outdoor bird aviary for my 2 doves that had just the right dimensions and a water proof roof for a reasonable price. However it turned into a nightmare the moment it was delivered. Do Not Purchase this product; it's a scam rip off. When my husband and I opened the box we immediately saw 2 cracked and broken wood pieces. Then we realized all of the wood was flimsy, thin and very low quality. The paint on the wood looks awful, very sloppy. We didn't even bother building it and based off another review the wood will fall apart while screwing it together. I immediately requested a refund with the company through my Amazon order page and ended up having to go back and forth in a chat for 3 days. They said I would be responsible for paying the $60 shipping to send it back and that they would deduct that from my $109 refund once it's received, only giving me a $49 refund, when I paid $184 Total for it. First though they only gave me a $20 refund to keep it. I had to chat back and forth, explain that it was unfair and ask questions, which weren't clarified. They went on to offer a $40 refund, then a $50 refund, like it's a game. Finally, they offered me what they claim is the maximum refund they can give, $75. The actual product was $109, so I'm not sure how they can get away that. They should have to at least refund the full cost of the product if not the tax and shipping. Pretty much I have a bird house I can't use and lost $109. I was robbed $109. This is unacceptable! Amazon should not allow this company to sell!

Not good for hookbills. Softbills only.
Bought for finches and it was easy to assemble with a screwdriver. Lightweight enough to move around. Added my own touches based on other customer reviews to include a acrylic seed shield, small door knobs, and sawtooth picture hangers for basket nests. Would not recommend for medium to larger hookbill birds as the wood is too soft and could be easily chewed on. Also would not leave outside full time especially here in Texas with the humidity, raccoons, possums and feral cats. Looking to buy a second one for breeding.

Not completely safe…
The aviary is lovely, reasonably priced, and easy to assemble. However, the wood is soft, and my Cockatiels are chewing it up. Birds will be birds; this isn’t the biggest issue. The aviary has a nice-sized nesting box. My Cockatiels had their eggs inside and all seemed well. One day, to my horror, I came out to find that the bottom floor of the nesting box had just fallen off. The eggs, which were close to hatching, came crashing down, along with my bird who was sitting on them. Eggs aside, my birds were completely traumatized. After nursing over and caring for the eggs, this was terrible for them. This cage was only 2 months old, give or take a few weeks. I would say that it’s made very poorly for this to have occurred. At least, the nesting box was!☹️☹️😩If you purchase this cage, reinforce the nesting box (which comes pre-assembled). I learned the hard way, as did my birds. Fortunately, the birds weren’t harmed. Only the chicks inside the eggs, which is sad enough.I contacted Avituvin to report, but received no reply. Not a bad cage, if breeding isn’t a concern.
