Struggled making crystals with this product
I’m 99% sure that this product is what created a ton of gunk on top of my melted bismuth that I had to sift off. It’s the only thing that I’ve introduced into the ingut I get from another source. It was definitely not like regular bismuth that I’m used to melting, much duller with no oxidation. Not sure if this was a bad batch or if human error so I can’t completely blame this product, but again - 99% sure it’s no good for my purposes (making crystals) maybe due to impurities. And again, in be fair, it might be my misunderstanding of their product ...so I can’t knock it too low because it wouldn’t surprise me too much if it was due to my inexperience.

Doesn’t appear to be 99%
The Hall effect response from this sample was well below what would be considered normal. Furthermore upon melting, there was a lot of impurity that surfaced.However it is dense like bismuth should be. And is somewhat diamagnetic. So it certainly has some bismuth, but what else is in here I have no idea.
