plastic, plastic, plastic
laser adjustments "frozen" on delivery, I bought 3, first one, inside bracket broke before unit was firm enough to not move and adjust. Too thin and not reinforced 1/16" plastic if that. Second one, L/R adjust worked one direction, would only mount 3/8" below frame, I expect it to break upon firing the 45acp rounds. Third, too large for my 380, closed trigger area off over 1/3, used as spares for other two. Price is not cheap enough for the product. If I bought again the price would be, they paid me to dispose of it.

Used this on a M-11/9... Looks and works GREAT!
I used this on the underside of the very squarish Intratec M-11/9 ('MAC-11'). Used no shims, no plastic back plate. I first cut and filed slightly into the recessed area of the laser module body to match the curve of the front of the trigger guard until the very back where the rear retaining screws would go until it was flush with the inside surface of the trigger guard's forward face. I then cut 1 thin strip of black 3M indoor/outdoor permanent mounting tape (sitting in the deepest part of the concave trough along the long axis) followed by a side-to-side thickness of additional tape that covered over the first piece to effectively make the whole section 'flat' front-to-back and side-to-side and now mountable to an opposing flat surface. If you are using 'grey' colored 3M VHB tape, the edges can be stained black with a permanent black magic-marker. On the rear side where the plastic back plate is normally used, I cut a utility knife blade (VERY tough but thin steel!) up to match the exact -minimum- requirement to go from side to side (even slightly rounded the 4 corners to match) and drilled the 2 holes required (even with HSS bits, be careful you don't burn the bits) exactly to match up with the two screw holes on the back of the unit. The aforementioned part was quite difficult (even with a Dremel tool), but worth it. Lightly sanded then painted it flat black. Zipped the 2 shortest screws down by 50% in length, and installed the plate over the face of the trigger guard and onto the back of the laser. The unit is mounted ROCK-SOLID, literally as small as it can possibly be, and appears to be manufactured as part of the gun. It took 2 days of precision craftsmanship on that microscopic plate, but looks extremely professional. The more solidly it is mounted, the less likely that G-forces will break it internally. Adjusted the horizontal and vertical axis screws to bring the laser to align with the sights. After firing a few rounds, zeroed it in and locked off the adjustment screws. Thank goodness I'm right-handed or this would be a pain to turn on and off. Manufacture should make the switch a 'push through' with center position off.I'm very happy with the unit for what I used it for.

Good not Great
I bought this laser for my Taurus PT 92 9mm. The gun is picky about what kind of lasers you can mount on it which is no fault of the manufacturer. It mounts just fine, although not pretty since my gun is not designed for it. It sights in and holds its relative mark after two clips. I like it. It does what is needs to do.

works, but....
This works if you don't have a rail, but it is not flush to the bottom of the gun. It's sticks out like the cylinder style one. It's all plastic and to be honest, I broke it all ready from it laying in my bag unsecured. It's plastic so not durable, but it did work and didn't lose zero after 50+ rounds.

Poor product. No stars was not an option, so 1.
Waste of money and effort in my opinion. If you have an extra hour and want to fill it with frustration, this is the product for you. Mounting to my to my browning pistol required being able to hold four moving parts in place while trying to line up and insert the mounting screws. I finally got it mounted and the battery door would not open. I dropped the pistol on the carpet while trying to open the battery door. THe mount broke in several places on impact with the carpet.

Best value for $25
I took a chance on this laser dot sight for my Beretta 84F. It took about an hour from package to fully mounted and sighted in. This product came with different size wedges to insert and adjust the course elevation of the sight. It even came with extra batteries! Once mounted I zeroed the laser dot with the fine adjustment screws using the enclosed tool. I only need it to work once as I only use my pistol for home protection. The laser dot is nice and bright-enough to deter anyone I set it on. I have to say for $25 you can't beat it.

Good product difficult to install
The product is a little difficult to install, best i you have a vise to hold on to the weapon. but once installed it works great.

Laser on the cheap.
You truly get what you pay for. The device is nicely built and shaped. It comes with shims that snap into place to allow better positioning. What brought me down were the laser adjustment screws, they did absolutely nothing. Adjusting them either direction the laser never moved. Now, if they had worked (mine may have been a dud) I would have placed it in the 5star group.I chalk this up to not purchasing a gun with a rail originally :)
