This printer is awesome well-worth the money. It comes with the paper roll holders for those who are wondering, so no need to worry about purchasing those separately. Ignore the review that gave "the printer" 1 star because they failed to realize that it "does" in fact come with the holders, and also does not reflect the printer itself. I am more of a hobbyist with a DIY photo booth setup for family parties. Everyone loves the photo booth, but the only drawback was the printer... how slow it was, to be precise. I was using a Canon Selphy printer, which produced awesome quality dye-sub prints with high resolution, but waiting for over a minute for a single photo was excruciating for guests. There would always be a line of people waiting for their photos, and it really prevented them from having fun. This printer may be a little overkill for personal use like this, but after a couple parties with the DNP, I found it to be well-worth the price. I must say that the print resolution isn't quite as fine as the Canon Selphy, but it is still high-quality, and if I had to choose between the resolution and speed, speed would win every time. Anyone complaining about jams or the ink rolls getting stuck to the paper rolls probably didn't follow the instructions. YOU MUST ALWAYS unload the paper/ink after use and remembering to insert the foam head-protector before transporting. I've had this printer for a couple of months now, and I have no complaints. The case is also very-high quality, nicely padded, and has enough extra space for trays, cords, and paper roll holders.In addition, I also purchased a DNP WPS Pro (wireless print sharing server) that works perfectly with the printer for wireless printing.

Fantastic printer 🖨. Look up how to change the driver on YouTube to make it print 2x6. Honestly kinda heavy for some weird reason. I know it's lighter than a hiti p525l but in the case I had to buy a collapsible dolly to haul the thing after a couple gigs

I bought this printer to print pictures for a photobooth. All instructions were followed and the ribbon and paper were inserted correctly. During the initialization stage in the printer, only 4 blank pages comes out and on the 5th page it jams and the error light comes on. After troubleshooting several times and reading every review on the internet, I came across a video from 9 years ago on YouTube with over 30 persons complaining about the exact issue but different methods to fix it. The one that worked for me was holding the printer door shut EVERYTIME the printer has to print an image. I immediately decided that I wanted to return the printer since it is clearly defective however, the policy states that I must return in original condition and once the ribbon has been inserted, I would not be refunded. Further to that, I only have 1 month to return the product. I am from Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean. I bought the printer on May 22nd and received it in Trinidad on 10th June 2024 with exorbitant customs and shipping fees. It is highly unlikely that if I ship the printer back (and pay exorbitant shipping fees to ship from Trinidad and Tobago to the US) that they will receive before 22nd June 2024. Therefore I am stuck with a defective printer that I spent over $1000.00 USD on (inclusive of shipping). I am extremely disappointed

Ink cartridge ripped at first printing... 144.00 down the drain... very hard instructions to understand, plus not wifi enabled and we had to purchase another program that runs on a pc in order to use it... our old canon Selphy worked wirelessly and on battery... plus with a super easy and free iPad app.... waste of money
