Almost every inside tin lid showed something not appealing
I have enjoyed this tin ham immensely it's very tasty and good value and could be improved by reducing the amount of water etc that's added and have now purchased PEK Gammon ham to try, but have yet to open one.I do have one criticism and that is it appears that virtually every tin of this that I have opened there's been some kind of contaminant on the underside of the upper lid as shown in pictures I don't know if this this is something to do with the cooking process and it doesn't seem to contaminate the meat but it just doesn't look very nice, but saying that it hasn't deterred me from eating the meat and still enjoying it. Perhaps the manufacturer can clear this matter up? If it was not for that I would have given 5 star's.

Tasty and meaty
I usually purchase the PEK chopped pork (Gold) but as there was none available from the usual supplier I decided to try the PEK ham from this supplier. Though not as solid in consistency (which made it slightly difficult to remove from the can in one piece) it is a tasty meaty alternative. I would say I still prefer the chopped pork but would recommend this product too. Ideal for a quick meal with vegetables or as the meat portion in salads and sandwiches (

Short expiry date
Bought it in April 2022 ant the expiry date is June 2022. People might expect it keep it longer.
