Works nice
I’m a broke student that needed this for my classes. It works well and I like that it automatically connects to the room’s frequency and I don’t have to manually input it.

Everything works. Buttons are clickable, batteries included, numbers appear on the screen when desired, laser didn't give me cancer etc etcWildly overpriced of course, but hey, if you're here I'm sure you don't have a choice.Consider the following options next time you have to purchase an expensive gadget just to get your attendance grade for a one semester course:1) Try stealing one from your roommate2) Ask if anyone who took this course last semester is selling theirs through-email-blackboard-your college subreddit on reddit.com3) Check if someone's invented an iClicker app for your phone that worksIf none of these work, grit your teeth and buy this product. Then try to sell it for at least 50% of its retail price next semester.

Feels like a toy but achieves its purpose with ease
You know, This sucker is an iclicker. As a college student there isn't much to it. You need it for many of your classes; professors love them because it forces you to go to class; students hate it because it forces you to go to class. Choice wise Amazon is hands down the best place to buy it and the cheapest too. On our campus book store this glorified piece of plastic goes for like 73 bucks. Here is it a little bit cheeper. It was easy to set up and use. Directions were very clear and concise. Product feels a bit like a toy though. Despite this, it completes its job; it allows the user to select an answer the the professor's problem.I give this product 4 stars because it is easy to use and functions as it should.I do not give it 5 because it feels like a toy phone and doesn't answer questions for you.

Son was very positive
When given the choice of getting a used Version-1 (original) at just a few dollars less than a new Version-2, I figured that V2 should be purchased (some additional functions but still will do what V1 did.) NOTE: The Clicker has been only used in a single class during my son's Freshmen and Sophomore classes, and then only used the basic functions.

but I was happy with my purchase
I purchased this back in 2012 for a class I was taking. I had never heard of these or used them before, but I was happy with my purchase. Great price. Shipment was fast and easy. Received it time for class. Not sure if these are still being used, but I think these are geared towards large university classes. I still have mine, and it still works great!

God, I hate this thing.
If your prof requires it, better get it. If it's not required, don't torture your hands. You'll get hypertension or arthritis or something trying to jab your answer in and remember whether the symbols are after the letters or after the numbers. If your prof requires long form answers, which means potentially up to fifty keypresses or so to input all the letters, numbers, and symbols, then seriously consider whether you'd rather frantically sit there click click click click click clicking like some mad person or if you'd prefer to just get the smartphone app. If enough people in your class have the smartphone app, you're going to constantly be seen as holding everybody back, any way. So, again, if it's for extra credit or some other non-essential part of your class, don't buy it. If people on your campus say that some profs will require it for full credit, then do buy it and pray that your prof accepts short-form answers or at least uses multiple-choice. For the money, though, seriously, they could have made a little touch screen thing. What an annoying little p.o.s.

Pricey and professors can't work it
Ya know. The iclicker itself is a smart idea, and if utilized correctly can be a great classroom tool. However, if your teacher or professor, like mine, requires that you buy a $50 test taking device to use once a week for four questions, coupled by the fact that they give tests on paper instead of the iclicker because they are incapable of working the software, it is a ripoff. Smart idea, but in reality it is not a practical classroom tool for the money
