DreamLine SHDR-3445720-01 Aqua Ultra Shower Door, 45" W x 72" H, Chrome

I put this in an ADA shower that would let way too much water get out onto the floor which ended up ruining the flooring. After replacing the flooring, I wasn't about to make the same mistake again but I didn't want to put a traditional shower door in place because then a wheeled shower chair could not get into it. By using this frameless one, once the hinged door is open, there is plenty of room for ADA access. I did also change the shower head to one that sprays straight down instead out toward the open end. It's classy. It's substantial. It's priced better than the local home improvement store. My husband and I were able to put it up without too much difficulty. the only mistake we made was to put too much silicone in the groove before putting the stationary glass in place. We were nervous, so we watched a number of YouTube videos of similar door installations. Unfortunately, this company only makes 2 min teaser videos intended to make you purchase the product not to help you install it. Still, very happy with it and highly recommend it.

Finished door looks great. I am not a professional so It basically took me a full day. A couple of tips learned along the way:Make sure to use a diamond tipped drill bit, and drill very slowly with little to no pressure. These bits are more expensive than the masonary bits but worth it in the end.Have a buddy with you. It speeds up the installation and makes it more fun.Plan out the installation timeline after recieving the item. Don't rely on the shipping times. The doors are so heavy and fragile that shipping becomes problematic. I had to order my door four times because UPS accidentally broke the glass everytime. The order would get delayed every time and was returned without it ever making it to my door. Then Amazon went out of stock creating a longer delay.The glass pieces are really heavy at +100lbs so kudos to Amazon for continously reshipping the item without issue.Overall, great value for the price.

EDIT - Less than 4 years later, the rubber gaskets that hold the door in place have failed. They're crumbling like dry cornbread. The door sags. Customer service is now slow, rude, and unconcerned about anything except following a hostile company policy. I no longer recommend doing business with Dreamline. Also, the price of the door I bought has increased by 50% in 4 years.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Like a few other reviewers, we shattered the door trying to install it. No problem, they sent us another one, under warranty. We dropped a tiny screw down the drain while installing the hinges. No problem, they sent us a whole new hinge which, by the way, appears to have been machined out of a solid billet of stainless steel and then polished to a lovely shine. It also weighs about three pounds.The magic coating they put on the glass to reduce buildup of minerals and haze on the glass is no match for the rock-hard water we have here in AZ, but nothing is. The installation instructions were clear and well thought out and installation of the stationary panel went very smoothly. The one area the instructions were lacking is the installation of the door.It may seem like a simple thing to hang a door on previously installed hinges but when it weighs 50 lbs. and is thin, difficult to hold onto, and can shatter without warning, it's not simple. And despite being "safety glass", my wife sustained a few scratches and tiny cuts to her wrists when it shattered on us while we were trying to align the door with the stationary panel. We probably torqued it too much in maneuvering.Two tips: a firm piece of foam rubber to rest the door on helps, and tighten the screws on the hinges on the stationary side more than you think need to. The holes the hinges pass through in the glass panels are bigger than the parts that pass through them, so there is room to adjust, but also room to sag.It took us four tries, because I was afraid of over-tightening the hinges and shattering the glass again. But we got it, and it's been a treat for me to be able to walk into a shower without ducking under a bar of some kind.

It was exactly what I was looking for. Customer service is great once you start a conversation. It may take a few days for an email response, but over the phone is much quicker.

Seen tons of reviews the hinges were not good etc. The hinges worked fine for me. Was very easy to install. The only hand up I have is they include drywall anchors for mounting. Well we mounted this ontop of porcelain tile. Had to run into town and pickup some tile drill bits. Then planned everything out so the mounting screws for the bottom and side plate and corner anchor would all be drill into studs. Well the screws they include with the kit arent long enough to go through the tile, thinset, and concrete board. So had to run back into town, that is my only knock on this kit. Besides that very easy to install, the hinges are easily able to hold the door and it looks great. Was also cool they included an extra bag of misc screws, anchors and such incase any was lost, unfortunately I wasnt able to use any of that stuff either. All said an done i had both sets of doors drilled, siliconed and mounted in about 3-4 hours.

Door was easy to install. Only problem was one of the screws broke when installing the frame. Ran to hardware store to get a slightly shorter screw. Other than that, it went smoothly. This fi ished my bath remodel, and couldn't be happier with it. Looks beautiful!

I will admit that I am a construction worker but I probably installed this faster than it would have taken me to remove the existing shower curtain, wash it, then put it back up. Very happy with my purchase.

Used it in the guest shower. Very sleek looking and sturdy.
