It fits well and saved my kids laptop.

I bought this to replace the defective jack in my T400 Lenovo laptop. I fit perfectly and worked perfectly. Thumbs up!

There was no manual descriptions that how to replace that cable port, But i managed to replaced it after opening the back of Laptop which took one hour to understand the whole mechanism.

In the photo, the top charging harness was taken out of my ThinkPad T460. The lower harness was what I received. I ordered a Deal4Go replacement because comments said it was longer than others. However, the part I received was 2 cm too short, the wires were too thick to fit easily in the space available and the small black square was too close to the port to fit the space designed to take it. I think I was sent a substitute harness. The replacement part I received doesn't have a Deal4Go sticker on it and doesn't look anything like the online photo. I was not able to make it fit and had to return it. Note that my T460 was built in April 2016. This harness may fit some version of the T460 laptop, but not the one I have.

Works with my thinkpad T450. I compared it to the original charging port and looked the same, and had the same measurements. My only issue is that I couldn't get it to fit correctly back in and completely close the computer. I'm still giving it 5 stars though bc it charges my computer quickly and easily (the old port broke so I could only charge at a certain angle) and bc It may be my fault that I couldn't get it to fit in right, as I've never worked with computers before. I don't really mind it, and my laptop works so its all good with me. If you buy it and you can't get it to fit either leave a review and I will edit my rating.
