We started our 11 year old Cat Oscar on Kidney support Gold on 2/14/23.(I wrote a long review about my cats amazing recovery - Kidney Support Gold 2 oz.)Oscar was diagnosed with Hyperthyroid and CKD late October /22.The Vet wanted to put him down there and then. She insisted he was to sick to save and there was nothing that could be done for him. We were devastated by these news, but determined to save him. So, we got a second opinion from another Vet who absolutely wanted to help us save our beloved cat.It was decided that he would be getting Radio active Iodine treatment for his hyperthyroid.BUT, only if he passed all necessary tests at the animal hospital. Since he had CKD he was a risk case, we were told.We had been giving him Epakitin- phosphate binder in his renal wet food for about 3 months, and his kidney levels had improved a lot from this. But, we knew that in order for him to pass the kidney test his levels needed to come down even more.So, I ordered KS Gold and gave him 4 drops twice a day- full dose in his renal wet food for 2 months.He had his pre test for the Radioactive Iodine treatment on 4/12/23. His kidney levels had come down even more, and now he qualified for the treatment.He was successfully treated in hospital 4/17/23, and today 5/31/23 we went back to the Vet for his check up. His lab tests showed that he is now cured from Hyperthyroid disease. And, his CKD is stable and he is doing extremely well!Todays lab results: 5/31/23- 2 months since last test on 3/7/23.Urea: 15.3 Down from 20.1Creatine: 132. Down From141. ( down from 180 on 1/12/23)Phos: 1.53. Down from 3.6Bun: 16. Down from 35.Kidney support Gold absolutely helped saved our cats life.He will have to take KS Gold for the rest of his life to keep his CKD in check. So from now on we will be buying the 4 oz bottle. My dog is sleeping again! It would appear that this supplement is helping our 16 year old dog. I am very thankful we found it! She used to wake up multiple times during the night for either water or needing to go to the bathroom. She occasionally still wakes up, but it is nowhere near the frequency as before. I was very worried about starting this supplement because my dog has such a sensitive stomach so we started very slowly. No stomach issues! Her kidney values have not been good, so I will be curious when we recheck how they are. I will post the results here once we take her kidney values again.

I haven’t left a review for years, so thought I should again. Sam the cat is almost 19 years old and started on Kidney Support Gold five years ago when his vet said he was starting into renal problems. He has remained healthy and his last blood work showed only Stage 2 renal failure. I’ll continue giving it to Sam for the rest of his life. I used Kidney Support on two other cats with equally great results (both lived to 18 years old). This product doesn’t cure kidney problems, but greatly slows the disease process in my experience.

I won't know how well it works until my vet runs the BUN numbers on both of my dogs but since it is liquid, doesn't have to be Refridgerated, and is less expensive plus both girls like it and I have no problem getting them to eat or drink it. For one dog I put it in unsalted beef broth, and she just laps it up. For the other one I put it directly on her food and she licks her plate clean. Will revisit this after I get new numbers from my vet. We will see!

Gave this product to my multipoo after experiencing excessive thirst and constant urination. It’s been two weeks giving it to him once a day and he’s doing great. Less thirst and less urination and he has a lot of energy now.

I bought this for my 2 dogs and my cat. Ended up only giving to my cat 3 times and stopped. Ended up having to put him to sleep. I cannot say that this was the cause or not but he got really bad and couldn’t walk. He was in kidney failure for the last year though.Gave some to both of my dogs. One of my Pitties, after a few dosages was unable to jump on the stool to get to the bed and I stopped the supplement, and within 2 days she was able to get on the bed by herself.My second Pittie had a reaction to her nose and all the hair fell off and ended up scabbing over. That was the only thing different that was given to her. I stopped the supplement and within a couple of weeks she was healed, but is still missing the fur on the side of her nose.I through the supplement in the trash. I was disappointed. Not to say this might not work for other animals, but it did not work for mine.

This product works wonders on our senior rescue corgi. We definitely saw the best results after about a week of full usage. We administered it to him every 12 hours. Don’t use more than what the recommended dosage is. Stick to giving it to your pup every 12 hours and I hope you see the same results as we did. Our senior has more energy and is eating his full meals again.

I wish I could post one of the positive reviews like the others. I don't know if this just works better on acute rather chronic, or if it just works sometimes and not others. It did not add any time to my sweet fur baby's life. I tried it for 2 weeks, and she continued to decline. I finally put her down to stop the suffering. It was heartbreaking. I would try it again if i had to do it all over again because it's worth a try to save your fur baby. Just go into it with the right state of mind because it doesn't always work.Without me requesting a refund, the company processed a full refund to my payment method once it saw my review. So, I guess that is very exceptional customer service. For that, I believe they deserve 3 stars.
