Master chalk is the standard chalk used by billiard players
Over the years, chalk has been developed by manufacturers to better arm pool players with high end chalk. The proposed advantage to the “ high end “ chalks is better adhesion to tip surface and requires fewer chalking per game). My opinion is that a cue tip should be chalked before every shot ensuring a proper tip preperation and consitent English. I have tried the higher end challenge and believe it’s not worth the price or hype. Higher end chalk is softer so more of the chalk sticks to the top. However, after shooting the first shot, much of the chalk is loosened from the top and falls to the cloth” (more messy). Master chalk remains as the choice of preference of most players and provides consistent and predictable results!
