Great sample book. Lots of choices!

I know it seems pricey for a bunch of swatches but it really helped me choose the right color for our bedroom and living room. I was almost positive the ‘rock grey’ would work but ‘fog’ actually worked better. It also includes sample of the liners which is great since I needed blackout curtains and wasn’t sure it was truly blackout (it is!). Definitely worth the money since you can’t return custom drapes!

The fabric is nothing short of beautiful. We ordered the pinch pleat with 85% blackout for our west facing living room bay windows. Two things were noticeable soon after we hung them. First, though we have central air, the 85% blackout choice is very effective in cooling down our living room when the sun is very intense from about 4:00pm-8:00pm. Second, when the sun comes up, until it sets, the light filtering through the linen fabric makes the fabric look so lovely. We are happy with our selection. One more thing. We brought out our fabric steamer expecting wrinkles but we didn’t have to use it. The few wrinkles the drapes had were minor and straightened out in a few days.

This is a great way to decide what color drapes to order. The sample packet came quickly with hundreds ao good sized pieces in it.

Definitely order this first before your curtains and then look on line to see what colors they offer in the size curtain you want. Not all of the colors are available and this will help you to make a better decision and not fall in love with a color that’s not available.

I was so glad I made the decision to spend just a bit of money and buy this sample set to ensure the color choice for our Chad Made Drapes. Relying on the computer samples was a bit terrifying, especially since our drapes were being custom made and non-returnable. The samples arrived amazingly fast, within two days! The samples are attached in such a way that I could pull apart several choices at one time to compare them against each other. Each sample has a nice label attached to the back for easy reference. The sample set is sturdy and everything is held together with good hardware.
