SENSE-ation No-Pull Dog Harness (Green, Medium) by Sense-Ation Harness

We bought the front-fastening Sense-ation harness for an 18 month old pit bull cross we recently took in. He had no idea of how to walk on leash and lurched in different directions constantly plus just plain pulled forward until he was choking on his collar. Painter stopped pulling within 15 minutes of leash work time in the Sense-ation harness, coupled with reversals of direction, playing red light-green light, and the 'make like a tree' game. Painter was rewarded every time the leash relaxed and he turned around to face us - and he is a smart pup! - but the harness did half the work for him by making it impossible for him to continue to pull forward without ending up turned and facing me - at which point he immediately got a click and a treat. A week later I walked Painter through Home Depot and was complimented by four different strangers on my "well trained" dog. :)We also taught an older cattledog belonging to my elderly mother to walk nicely on leash, using a Sense-ation harness. The cattledog had been hauling my 86 year old mother around for four years.The harness alone is not magic, but it does turn a puller around. It should always be combined with positive reinforcement. These harnesses are a bit tricky to fit at first, but once you get the hang of it, your dog and your arm will appreciate the result.

Truly solves pulling and houdini dog problems in a gentle and humane way. My little rescue dog will bolt if he gets spooked, which means slipping his collar. The trauma of having him lost on two separate occasions was too much. I tried at least 10 harnesses before finding this one. The front leash attachment is the most effective and humane. Plus he can’t back out or slip the harness. I use a key ring to attach the front ring to his collar for extra security. Love this trainer-designed harness!

In less than two weeks front strap shredded and a black clip broke. Dog did not wear all the time. Not even every time we went out. Only a few times. Good thing I noticed before we went out. Not safe!

Plastic breaks, easily. The one I had lasted a week. You could make it usable again by gluing the straps in place. Not worth the price.

Keeping it short and sweet: this stopped my dog from pulling immediately. Walks have become easy, enjoyable since using this harness for my 30 lb mix.
