Q: How does this popcorn work in an air popper?

Our popcorn pops really great with an air popper. As a tip, it is good to let the popper warm up for a minute or two before adding the popcorn kernels. That way, the heat is high and heats up the kernels fast. It results in a better pop that way.

Q: How should this be popped to get them round like photo here? It says no microwave?

Add oil with a high heat point to the bottom of a tall pot with 3 kernels. When they pop, wait for the oil to heat a little more (I use induction so 15-30 seconds is an eternity and long enough, but if you're not using induction might be 1-2 min). Then when the oil is all hot enough, dump in the kernels, let it pop in the HOT oil, and you WILL get the "planet"/"mushroom" shape. Swish the pot around if you feel you need to. I tried with a microwave popper once with these kernels, and the results weren't nearly the same as a pot on a stove with oil. Oh yes, I used a high heat name-brand popcorn oil and set the induction cooktop to not monitor the temperature, but just to go to level "10"! Great stuff!

Actually, yes, it is. It is a peanut, gluten and soy free facility. All we process is popcorn. This is true of the un-popped kernels (currently all we offer). We harvest and store the popcorn in a grain bin that has only, and will only, contain popcorn. So, it starts in the field.

Q: Is this processed in Peanut free facility?

Yes, it is grown on the farm and stored in a grain bin that has ONLY ever had popcorn in it. Then, cleaned and packaged in a company-owned facility that is peanut free! Our equipment doesn't touch anything other than popcorn.
