Sagler Marble Grey 3.75 inches Diameter Mortar and pestle set

So this little Mortar and Pestle is great for a small amount of herbs etc.Please take out a ruler and measure out 3.75 inches which is the overall diameter, the inner bowl is actually only 3 inches wide.It is plenty of space if you're not doing large leaves or quantity.It is solid in construction and a great mini-mortar.Don't be dissapointed.

It does the job and is solid, but I wouldn't recommend or buy again.There are deep grooves in both the mortar and pestle which capture ALOT of pill dust. You can't just easily get it out without washing. So the first pill I crushed, I got almost nothing out of it because most of the pill was trapped in the grooves. After many pills later, I'm still not sure how much I'm getting.Fortunately the dose is not critical for the type of pills I take, but definitely pass this one buy if an accurate dosage is important to you.

The mortar is machined badly. there are ridges in the bowl that turn to dust and would mix in with whatever you are crushing until the bowl was well broken in, and even then i feel like there would be dust from this thing in everything i grind. returning. ill spend the extra 10 bucks and get a decent one. serves me right for being cheap.

I really like the size of this M&P, plus it's marble so it goes well with my kitchen decor and the vibe I was going for. It's compact but I like that about it. I mainly use it to crush sesame seeds but I also use it occasionally for herbs too.

Got this for spices. Smaller than i thought but not a bad thing. It is a deep bowl so that is good. Feels sturdy enough.
