Wow! This Beaver Horseradish is really spicy hot! Just as it should be and the way I like it. Have tried several other brands over the years that were either too bland, with too much salt or far too much vinegar. I should not have been surprised as other Beaver products I regularly purchase are also excellent ( ie: tarter sauce, sweet & spicy mustard). This is my choice from now on.

I use horseradish sauce for my shrimp cocktail sauce and we like it hot, unfortunately there wes hardly any heat, i would not buy again.

Tastes great and is quite hot compared to the average. I personally prefer hotter horse horseradish, but I suspect that "hot" is all relative to what you're used to. For me, I normally have this around holidays so for being a more casual consumer, this is hot and tasty,
