I have never before ordered several more copies of a book before I've even finished reading it. Yet this book is so full of kindness, wisdom, acceptance and compassion for all those who are struggling with loss and bereavement I had to share it. He doesn't minimise the awfulness of grief, yet gives us the hope and inspiration that we will find a way to live with it and incorporate it.I thank him so much for writing this profound and lovely book.

This is by far the best book I've read on grief (and I've read dozens). It is particularly good if you've lost someone from addiction or mental illness. It is personal yet speaks to everyone and shows a wealth of experience and deep compassion. Thank you David!

Well written book. This book allows you to explore grief in an intuitive way. The stories and experiences of others makes it lighter than it could be to read about something you'd probably not choose to select. The final chapter was very good.

Book arrived promptly, after reading the first few pages I can tell it will be very helpful and enlightening. The box was damaged with a hole in one corner but luckily there is only a small crease in the front cover.
