I disliked that it only fits regular sized pens but I'm ok with that because there are lots of regular sized pens available in several stores. It was great with handling and writing. And it came with the pen in the image too which was awesome. I didn't expect that! I only expected the ring pen gripper by itself so it was so nice that they sent the pen too!

I've always had poor penmanship so I wanted to try this aide. My hands are long and thin. I found the hole was too tight on my finger. I tried many different holds but couldn't find a comfortable position. Overall it made my writing even worse. Might work for a smaller hand but a waste of money for me.

My daughter couldn't make head or tails of this thing. It was very difficult to figure out a comfortable way for her to use it. I showed it to her physical therapist and she gave me the "you've been had" look. The big pencil grips work much better for our needs and certainly doesn't cost as much!

Good assistive device! Got the small & it would work for small female hands and kids. I wear a ring size 5.75 on my ring finger and this was pretty tight. Great for weaker grips and to minimize pressure on impaired finger joints due to arthritis or other injuries.

There is no way my kiddo could set this up/change pen/pencil, etc. (similar for many with RA/arthritis, etc.), and neither can I on a bad day. That stated, many with fine motor/hand issues have someone to assist them with this task. We use a lot of color coding in our life, so if set up, we would need about 10 of these pre-"loaded" to better accommodate such.Furthermore, with the erasable pen, I find it very challenging--almost impossible--to use the eraser. I have 2 dynamics when trying to use this product:1. I lose track of thoughts during the time I'm fiddling with an erasure/correction; and2. I get exhausted trying to use this device.Composite Score: ~2.8

I bought this because my health issues cause painful fissures (tears) and swelling all over my hands when my disease flares. Writing becomes almost impossible at those times.This gadget is not only very easy to learn to use but it's so comfortable in the hand that I want to use it almost all the time. The only drawback is it really only fits classic Bic style pens and with my hand issues ball point pens can be painful to use because I can't use enough pressure. If they could design some that could be used with more types and sizes of pens I'd buy more.

Helpful for arthritic hands.

this little grip support is wonderful! i wish they had MORE! its helped my son tremendously!
