OtterBox Screenless Defender Series for iPhone X - Black I have always had an Otterbox case for all of my smart phones (where I could get them). They have always been of the highest quality and build.So, I am leaving this review with a little disappointment, as this case just is not up to par, compared to previous defender cases I have had.Firstly, the plastic cover over the Apple logo on the back of the case is loose and no longer attached, as I have fitted the Otterbox Alpha Glass screen protector, I can not removed the case to fix this without having to remove the glass screen protector, which cost just shy of £20.00, so, I will have to keep the case with a broken part.Secondly, the sides of the case do not feel as robust as previous cases, the do move ever so slightly leaving the case feeling a little flimsy, which it isn't.I would have given 4 stars had the sides not squeaked a little when pressed and 5 stars had the case stayed in one piece. I have used Otterbox Defenders to protect various models of iPhone for myself and my staff for many years and have found both the case and the belt clip to be strong, durable and of excellent quality. We never experienced a failure despite some quite arduous use. We recently bought iPhone Xs's and automatically bought Otterbox Defenders to protect them and carry them with us on construction sites where we work.The rubber case does not fit properly and continually catches on the belt clip making it difficult to stow with the possibility of it becoming detached, and the belt clip on 2 of them has broken across the main plate in the first week as the plastic is now of very poor quality and extremely brittle. After years of excellent service from many of these units, on different models of phone the price has now increased and the quality has been drastically reduced with the use of cheap and brittle materials which are quite frankly not fit for purpose.

Perfect case if you want to protect your phone and I have driffernt cases from drifferent companies. Just buy this case only negative it will probably look battered if you keep dropping your phone but your phone will always be safe from damage. The bezels are really high so you screen be protected if dropped face down.

Nice thick chunky case, although I've sent mine back, as I personally wasn't comfortable using the case without a front screen. It made me nervous incase I dropped it. The reviews for the case are great, so If you don't require a front screen you may love this sturdy case by Otterbox. Nice packaging too.

As good as the protection is, the plastic outer case cracked and then snapped when disassembled. No response from seller as tried to contact out the time frame. Brought Oct ‘18. Broke feb ‘19!!!!
