IBD Clear Gel Clear Builder Gel .5 Oz.

First and foremost the seal was not there only and the product had dust particles in it and it is not ibd builder gel....anyone will say that if they saw the product. Don't buy it

Builder gel is great for when you want to grow your nails out but I don’t recommend this to beginners. It’s a touch more runny than other builder gels but this product is very good and the brand itself is awesome.Only complaint is that it’s so damn expensive for this tiny little container!

I used this ibd clear builder gel for super long extensions and they hold really well! Idk why previously I didn’t just get ibd and call it a day. I had horrible experiences with other brands that cracked, stank of chemicals (I’m allergic to smell), and just hard to work with. I’d say the consistency is medium, which is really nice. You only need 30 seconds to cure. Don’t go overboard because it will get discolored (yellow) but I find that the discoloration goes away after a couple of hours. That’s totally expected for any clear gel very especially when they don’t have the violet pigment to cancel yellowing from excess heat. Ibd, if you’re listening, it would be nice to have a bit of violet pigment to protect from yellowing! Especially for us who are into doing encapsulating effects where “excess curing” is unavoidable.

I wanted a speaker that could be easily mobile so I could take it depending on what room I was in. But this has to be connected-plugged all the time. No battery like the first ones. Not what I expected.

So first off: I AM NOT A CERTIFIED NAIL TECHI'm only reviewing as a regular person with no real gel experience - I do it as a hobby!With that said, I have tried some other builder gels from different brands before and found most of them to either be ridiculously runny or severely sticky to the point I couldn't work with them. Since I'm a beginner and generally very slow in anything I do, this just ends in a huge mess and / or frustration.THIS. This thing is semi-liquid gold though. It doesn't seem to be affected my temperature fluctuations as much as other gels. I have never seen anything this CLEAR - when they said clear, they really meant it. It's practically invisible in the pot and equally as clear on the nails (there is some minor cloudiness on the pic of my nails because of leftover gel from a previous manicure - still clear as hell though!)There's practically no bubbles (or at least very few, small ones) and doesn't seem to get too bubbly either even when you mess with it. To me it has the perfect viscosity: not too runny but not polygel-thick either, so you could do all nails at once rather than one at a time because it will sit. On that note, I think it's got ever the slightest amount of self-leveling.Does it cure in an LED lamp? At least with mine it did! I've got 120W LED-only lamp, cured for 30 and 60 seconds - seemed solid with just 30 seconds but had more of a sticky layer, so I think 60 seconds is probably better.Will definitely buy more!
