Gardetto's Original Recipe Snack Mix, 10-Pound

Our family loves Gardettos's Originasl snack mix and has munched it for years. When our local stores stopped carrying it, we turned to Amazon. They still carried the 14.5 oz Family bags, which are good for 1-2 weeks. Now the 14.5 oz bag disappears often, leaving only the Snack bags (too expensive) or ridiculously over-priced third parties. So we ordered the 10 lb. bag, the equivalent of about 11 of the Family bags. They are, of course, delicious, but I still prefer to not have so much in storage

Came in decent amount of time and product was nice and crunchy and not stale and soft. Loved it will probably order another soon.

gave this to my 26 yr old brother for christmas. he was not expecting it at all. i've never seen him so happy, it was great!! it comes in one big plastic bag in a box. it's all probably the size of a pumpkin. he said they taste fresher than when you buy it in a bag at the grocery store/gas station. i can confirm!! i don't suspect the bag is going to last long...

Fast shipping, good taste

My husband was so surprised when he opened the box. I thought he was going to dive in. I kept finding empty bags of the Gardetto's snack mix in his truck, so as a suprise I got him this 10lb box. It has great flavor & I portioned it out for him & now added it to our subscribe & save.

So perhaps I didn't read the item description well enough, or maybe it wasn't mentioned at all. Regardless, the product shipped in a sturdy enough cardboard box. However, upon opening the box I was surprised to find it was 10 lbs of snacks inside a large plastic bag tied shut with a twist tie. I suppose I was expecting some sort of resealable plastic container to house the snacks? I don't really think it is an unreasonable expectation. Sort of irked as now I feel I need to find a suitable resealable container to transfer the snacks to in order to keep them fresh. So that's something to be aware of. The quality of the Gardetto's snack itself it fine, tasty and not stale at all! Hope this helps!

Usually get these for trips we have to make for doctors. (150 mile round trip as we live in country ). Buying the snack at mini marts was getting expensive. Love the large quantity, just fill a small sealable container and off we go, plus having for a snack while watching tv is nice too.

I cannot understand why a large bag of snack mix like this would not be sealed or at least have some type of bag tie that was closed. I received this box and upon opening it the bag of mix was open, just with the bag twisted a bit. Tie was not on the bag. Shocking that a food product would be shipped like this.
